I have about 15 friends/family and coworkers that actively play this game, of which 0... yes ZERO. Seem to care about the server issues. You have to realize that only the most hardcore fans are the ones who come on here (or twitter) and whine about gameplay. 75% of people just take it for what it is. I'm certain you realize this as the community is made up here of the more hardcore fans.


And no they didn't HAND OUT diamonds. If you wanted to pay nearly DOUBLE the price, you could BUY a diamond. In Canada, the digital deluxe (with all the packs and the diamond and gold starter missions) was $129. Which is almost double the regular price ($69). So there's a significant difference between handing out diamonds to EVERYONE and people BUYING them in pre-orders.


Also I was 'speaking for myself' that's quite literally what I did...

To each there on man.I get what you're saying just know things haven't been butterflies and rainbows people are complaining for good reason hardcore or not!!

75% highly doubtful speak for yourself god forbid people complain about something that is not working properly. You do know they basically handed out diamonds for preorder bonus.

They didn't basically hand out diamonds. I've preorder the digital deluxe edition the last two seasons. I didn't receive a diamond as part of the preorder bonus. The majority of people are probably in the same boat as I am. I don't care that I didn't. Don't assume that we did though.

I really can't understand why people come on here and ask for 'diamond' players. You realize that if you get one, so will everyone else and it will essentially become worthless? Anyone with a tiny piece of common sense can see that.


Here's the thing, handing out a free diamond to everyone would make a player like me pretty mad. I've played this game when I can, usually an hour or two a couple times a week and I've yet to receive a diamond player. Just handing them out would negate all the work people have done up until this point building their teams.


In NHL 16 they did something similar, for whatever reason they decided to give everyone a 99 Overall player and it devalued the entire market. It also took some variety away from the game, as everyone had the exact same player. This would be even worse in a 9 player game (as hockey has 19 players who play in a game).


To be honest me, like I'm sure SDS does, see right through most of this. I've experienced VERY little issue with the servers since the initial first week struggles. Yes, I've seen some lag welcome to online gamin' folks. Perhaps if you have issues with lag, you should consider playing an offline mode where you will not experience it. I've played online most of my life and I've yet to find a game that doesn't have some lag. Secondly, I've had MAYBE 1 out of every 8 games go into the queue and within a matter of hours, the result is there and correct. I also receive all of the rewards when I login the next time.


I really think this is just a bunch of loud mouths trying to represent everyone, when they in fact do not. 75% of us on here are pretty happy with the game and will be pretty happy with whatever compensation we do receive. The other 25% won't be happy no matter what. Those are the guys who cry about every issue and care WAAAAAAY to much about their 'records'.


Anyway.... END RANT.

Not only has this game been unplayable online since launch. My missions have not been counting either. So playing the CPU over and over again without stats or missions counting for team epics is pure insanity. Glad you didnt experience any server issues, but most of have, which is why we are complaining. So yea, im in that party that would like a diamond player to help with the team epics, set completions.

I don't know what to tell you, man. Maybe things are different up here in Canada, but no one I know has anywhere near the issues people on here 'appear' to be having. I'm not sure if we have better internet providers or just less people playing, but whatever the reason we haven't seen the same issues.


I also still fail to see the logic in expecting a diamond player. Stubs and packs absolutely, but a Diamond player to everyone won't happen. I've explained the rationale behind this a couple of times.


If your stats aren't counting, maybe they can 'complete' a mission or two for you, since that's what you're claiming right? Boost everyone's stats towards mission completions by 25% (my career, ranked season, etc.). Would that not be a more relevant way to fix the issue than just handing out diamonds?


I don't know about you, but when I do get a diamond, I'd like to enjoy the excitement of opening it. Or winning it as a reward, but hey that's just me.

Not saying that it is not a mess and the servers are crappy but unplayable goes a little far because there are plenty of people who are high level in ranked seasons. Others you have finished the event at the highest reward level (80 wins). People are completing online missions.


So obviously people are playing it
