How about the Opening Day 2009 logo on the field for Opening Day? I thought that was a really nice touch.

Also, I hit a really weak ground ball down the 3rd base line, and Pablo Sandoval backed up on it for a second to see if it would roll foul. When he could see it wasn't, he picked it up and tried to throw me out - but not in time. I thought that was awesome.

I was playing a game last night that went into extra innings. When I finished the game, it had just struck midnight. During the wrap up, the PbP guys stated "So as we approach midnight here on the East Coast..........." Not sure if it's because it was an extra innings night game, or because the game knew it was midnight, but THAT was awesome!

I'm playing franchise Dodger vs Giants and it gave me a cutscene showing Bruce Bochy and they mention that it was his B-Day. Nice touch.

I hope you gave him a loss from the Dodgers for his birthday.

I'm working on it right now actually. 0-0 top of the 5th 1 hit for the midgets none for me and 1 error. They also walked me three times but I didn't do crap.

It said something about being 2 am EST and since it was a westcoast game it was 11 and my DVR clock said 11! The game knows what time it is! Wow.

I made a diving stop with my first baseman in the hole and threw the runner out at first and I don't know why Dave Campbell said it cause I was kind of zoned out for a second after the play...but he said...."I think they'll talk about that online...in something called the 'Little Things Thread'".

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but it made me laugh out loud.

When my batter was coming to the plate he put his bat down and bent down to tie his shoelace before getting into the batters box.

Haven't played many games, but heard this one in game 2. Matt V. turns it over to Rex during the lineups and asks "what are you looking for in the game today"...Rex gives his two cents and then Matt says "Thanks Rex, I'll let you get back to your coloring book now"

I laughed heartily at that one.

I just hit a walkoff in a 10 inning game vs. the Indians at Yankee Stadium. The little cutscenes they have with the team greating you and the cheering/stadium noise is absolutely fantastic.

The crowd reactions in this game are perfect.

I hope there is playoff atmosphere in this game. If there is...man...

                              Okay, now this was cool!

I waved at a curve in the dirt for strike three and the ball skipped away so I could head to first. The catcher started running back to the backstop (with emphasis to the first base side) and couldn't find the ball, when the ball was skipping over toward the first base dugout. He finally found it and picked it up, but that time my player made it to first.

It was just cool how he actually didn't know where it was for a second!

Play away against the Giants today.

Someone flied out to the warning track and Soup said: "You aren't going to get it out of this ballpark, unless you have the number 25 on your back."

                                Thought that was pretty cool.
