I think I just need to approach each at bat the same way.

Also, Arod is injured for me and will be out about a month. He got injured in the 4th game of the season. He was doing well for me. He laready had 2 HRs. Im using Nick Swisher to play 3rd in his absence. Looking forward to getting Arod back.
      Isn't Nick Swisher left handed?

        Indeed!
Would be very awkward playing 3B left handed....to the point its hurting my brain imagining trying to play 3B left handed...I myself would mess up all the time...
Now I know Nick Swisher is 'probably' better at baseball than me but still...

Just took swept the Dodgers on the road in my Nationals Franchise, they were two huge wins for my team. Game 1 they took a 1-0 lead early, and it stayed 1-0 until the top of the ninth when i loaded the bases but could only get one run in. I scored twice in the top of the 11th to seal a tough win.

In game 2 i was up 3-0, then they scored, then went up 5-1. They scored in the bottom half so i took a 5-2 lead all the way to the ninth. They scored once, but i struck out loney on a full count with runners on first and second.

I'm sittin at 12-17 now, but on a bit of a "roll" if you will.

But with the good news comes some bad, Zimmermans 23 game hit streak is done.

Yeah he is, but Cody Ransom is struggling heavily in my franchise. I could move Swisher to DH, but Hideki is having an awesome year so far at DH so I don't want to move him. Swisher has been doing ok in the field but he has been hitting well offensively for me so I don't want to change anything.

UPDATE: The analysts got one thing right when they said the AL EAST will be a tight race between 3 teams. But they didn't get all the 3 team right. In my Franchise, the Blue Jays are in first place. The Red Sox are 1.5 games behind them and the Yankees are 2 Gms out of first. The Orioles are behind me (don't know how many games back) and the Rays are dead last. They started the season 0-6 but are slowly creeping back to .500.

It looks like the Blue Jays are on a roll having scored about 113 runs in the first month of the season. Im looking forward to getting ARod back. Only 9 more days and I can put him back into my lineup. Hopefully he can pick up where he left off. In the 4 games he played he has 5RBI's with 2 HRs.

I will try to post a screenshot of the standings when I get a chance.

Im sitting at 18-14 with the Dodgers having played all 32 games so far. Im 3 games out of first behind Colorado who is 20-10 currently. My pitching is suspect at times and my hitting can be up and down so its tough to get a solid streak going as it seems rare when my pitching and my hitting are both doing well in the same game.

Just started my Yanks franchise, having a rough Spring Training right from jump street. Lets see who makes the squad...

Ross is straight killing the ball for me. I'm 4-3 after I crushed the Braves last night. Javier Vasquez is the easiest pitcher I've ever hit against in video game baseball. Josh Johnson is now 2-0 with 2.50era. Hanley is also on fire...3 dingers already and 11 RBI.

There's no question, Hanley is a BEAST, oh and did you know he packed on 25 lbs in the offseason?

I didn't know that about Hanley. He could end up being one of the all time greats.

Anyway, I had the most fun game I've ever played yesterday. Last game of my series vs the Mets. Santanna had shut me down pretty much. He left the game in the 8th up 3-1. I managed a homerun off Putz to make it 3-2 in the bottom of the 8th. They bring in K Rod for the 9th. I just knew it was over......no no, Hanley takes the first pitch he sees from K Rod and jacks it over the Teile Monster to tie the game. I ended up winning in the 12th with an RBI single from Maybin.

It's games like these that convince me that this is the most realistic baseball sim ever.

10-2 with the bravos in my dynasty. Huddy, Lowe, Jurjens, and Vasquez are killin it. The biggest surprise...Kenshin Kawakami...He is devasting on the mound, go figure...Francouer finally started to hit the ball and he goes down for 2 months, as well as Omar Infante. So, I'm having to play with Tim Beckam (who I traded for) as my back up SS. He is doing well though, went 4-4 against Pitts the other night. Chipper is LIGHTING IT UP...8 HR's in his first 12 games. Unbelievable. Mac is also leading the league in hitting. Go figure?

My franchise isn't going well in terms of success, but I'm enjoying it immensely. It's one of the best things I've done in gaming, as I've put a lot of time in, played all the way through, and it shows how brilliant (and frustrating :P) the game is.

                            I'm with the Colorado Rockies, and I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm 20 and 40.

The first 30-odd games weren't good at all for me, but I changed my approach and it's payed off, as I'm scoring a lot more runs and making every game close even when I'm losing.

Simple rundown of my team (in batting and pitching order):

                            vs RHP:

                            1. Iwamura
                            2. Tulowitzki/Alex Gonzalez (DL)
                            3. Hawpe
                            4. Dickerson
                            5. Spilborghs
                            6. Helton
                            7. Sandoval
                            8. Iannetta
                            9. P

                            vs LHP:

                            1. Dickerson
                            2. Tulowitzki
                            3. Baker
                            4. Hawpe
                            5. Spilborghs

                            9. P

My leading pitcher for ERA is Jeff Francis with 3.29, the most homers and RBI goes to Brad Hawpe (10-36), and the most steals is Troy Tulowitzki (8).
