    Amen, brother.

I use the Mariners for season mode, as well as RTTS (2nd base).

I think a lot of the subtle stuff you see more of in regular games than in RTTS. Especially the atmosphere of the parks, chants, the train whistles at Safeco, dynamic lighting, etc. Plus, it really is fun to do it all; pitching, fielding, batting. Playing full games is a nice way to relax in the evening after work and drink it all in.

RTTS is amazing. I played thru six seasons in 08 this way. It's so addictive because you're always trying to boost your stats and improve your player, and try to get him to the next level. It's an RPG-like addiction to player development. And since the games play so quickly, I'd find myself playing 10+games at a sitting, never or RARELY simming. Several seasons, I played EVERY game.

    Great job, SCEA.

I really don't see this wave of negative posts that the OP is talking about. Trust me, go to any and every other sports video game thread on this forum and you'll see a TON of negative posts.

I think more than anything it's some of the misinformation that is given. A thread that is started that says something is "broken", basically, when it isn't, has to be addressed. Examples are sliders, or stealing is no good, with a big angry emoticon, lol.

It would be better if they posted, "how do you steal", etc., for example, instead of addressing things as broken, or don't work, but with people wanting instant gratification out of the box, the first thing to do is get angry and start a thread.

huh? is this post really necessary? this game is getting 9/10's all over the web, this is a great game out of the box - even the people complaining can't disagree w/that/.

every game you have ever played has "glitches", none of which affect gameplay at all in MLB 09. very hard to do in a sports game.
