Yep, that's exactly what I meant. I loaded up a franchise that I saved at the beginning of a season and it's working. Don't know why, but it is.

A franchise I was playing and was 20 games in, using the same rosters, is having issues.
ok i will try that. but i didnt really want to start a new franchise, so thats probably the only alternative here. but what you are saying is that you can play post-patch franchsie with old rosters?

I believe that's what Knight is suggesting. Not a problem for those that haven't started franchises yet, but for those of us that are somewhat deeply involved in our franchises it looks like we need to play pre-patch.

Seems like it's happening to everyone who is at least a few games deep into their franchises.

yeah, i mean that is a perfect franchise option for those who havnt started. but i really couldnt bare starting over and playing the same 20 games again, but thats just me being very stubborn about the whole thing.

15 or 20 have posted on here, but this tread only started a hour ago or so.

People with existing saves cannot play with the new patch, but people apparently can start new franchises with old rosters without a problem.

I'm using the stock SCEA rosters that came with the game and am in my 6th season of RTTS, with no prior crashes.

I just downloaded the patch now. I have a franchise that is 28 games in with my own rosters....I will let you know if it resets to PS3 menu

Well I understand; I'm about 40 games into mine and I've made several roster moves and such. I'm just really into my franchise and I don't think I could really get into a new one at this point..

From what I've tried, that's the only alternative to use old rosters.

Think of those that just have 8 or so games left to play in the season and is 20 games under .500 having to deal with getting their butt handed to them all season long and having to start over!

lol I haven't downloaded the patch yet and I don't think I want to!

o i know, im not saying my situation is horrible or anything like that. i realize many people are far more ahead in their franchise than i am. basically it comes down to people needing to choose for themselves wihch is more important: established franchise, or post-patch fixes

Just trying to clarify that it is NOT the rosters as people were VERY quick to jump to that conclusion.

On a bit of a quirky note I have 2 RTTS saved both about 5 years in. One of these experiences this problem and the other does not. Neither uses any custom rosters - just the out of the box ones.

I tried to load my glitched RTTS by deleting the patch and then ignoring the request to download 1.06 and i get a message that says "corrupt game data"

I tried reinstalling 1.06 and the glitch is still present.

I tried disconnecting from PSN after again deleting 1.06 and I am now able to access the schedule successfully.

ok, I have to ask a stupid question..

Where exactly is everyone experiencing this problem? is it on the schedule screen? or where?

yeah i did that because of all the talk about them clearing the roster vault and whatnot. luckily i do have a saved roster from before so the option of using it with a post-patch franchise is still open to me. but like i said before, im probably being very stubborn about starting over, when it probably isnt a big deal
