im guessing that it just rounded up seeing as box scores use fractions instead of decimals

Use your current save file, it generates box scores for every game

What exactly is NET Framework 1.1? If I install it over 2.0 what does it affect? Will it mess anything on my computer up?

Re: MLB09 Save Reader Beta Version 0.8.3498.17806 Release

I am here to check and see if I did this right:

First I downloaded that NET and it went fine. So then I downloaded and saved that save reader file. In the file there was the program, setup, configuration settings. So I hit the setup and wait and it says installation complete. Next I download and save the roster reader as the save reader so it replaces that. Then I quick the roster reader hoping it comes up but no it says is an error with some debugging thing.

What am I doing wrong? I feel like there is another step after save reader installation.

How do I view box scores after I've generated them?

edit - I'm also getting an error message now.

Let me see if I understand correctly... it was working fine, now you are getting an error message? What is the message?

I can't see the box score at work, but I'm guessing that they had at least two pitchers throw 2/3 of an inning, which I'm representing as .7, so that the math works out (mostly). .7 + .3 = 1, but .7 + .7 = 1.4 instead of 1.3. I need to figure out how to fix that little problem. You can't use 1/3 or 2/3 because those would add up to .9999... I'll probably do something like that and round up. I'm not liking ESPN's representation of innings that way.

That's the long way of saying that it's on the list of things to fix.

Try it with 2.0 first... it may work. According to Google, it should. If not, Google also tells me that you can have multiple versions installed at the same time with no issues.

                        This is what I got:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

                        Process id=0x2b3c (11068), Thread id=0x3acc

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application

I think I'm doing something wrong but maybe not.

                        Thanks for helping.

Yeah, it was working fine. But when I couldn't get any output to display, I tried re-installing .Net Framework and then, then the error message.

If you have any .db files in the directory where you installed the savereader, delete them, then run it again. Hopefully, that will clear up the issue.

It sounds like you've got a dll issue somewhere. Completely uninstall all versions of .net Framework and the savereader (from Add/Remove Programs), then reinstall .NET framework (start with 1.1) and the save reader (then the new .exe from post #19). Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Didn't work. I tried getting rid of everything but the .dll files and still got the same message.

edit - OK, I figured it out. Sorta. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to a different directory (reinstalling to the same directory didn't work). Viola, it worked. But I'm not quite sure why. There where no files present in the original directory that are not in this one.

Which brings me back to my original question. When it generates output, how do I view the output? I saw where you said it puts them in the directory with the save reader, but what should I be looking for?
