Re: MLB09 Save Reader Beta Version 0.8.3498.17806 Release

I ran a search on C:// and found a shorcut for a MLB09SR.dat file, but when I clicked on it it said that the location no longer exists. Other than tha I found nothing. This has me really puzzled. I may just have to wait until a future release.

      Same for me Metal

Ive installed/uninstalled but although the program appears to generate something (by the text in the bottom left) - there are no .XML files on my C: that relate to MLB in anyway.

When I load the save I do not get a .db file in my directory.... now that seems to be the root of the problem I assume as it has been mentioned here previously... so could that be a corrupt save? Its a Franchise saved on the latest patch with Ridins rosters. The only difference the save has had is that I saved mid game in one of the games.... I dont think that actually affects the stats in game but maybe does something different to the save file?

      I dont know

Well, I've actually tried creating new save files using different roster, but the the same effect.

The program also cannot read Triples. Everytime one is hit it just never shows up in the box score.

I must have some columns switched around. I'll check it out when I can find a game in my franchise that has a triple.

hmm not sure why its not working then.

Im going to try another save tonight and then leave it at that I think. Gutted atm as I loved this on MVP, but im sure the little issues will be ironed out as it goes along

Found the triples issue... if you want to fix it before I get a new release out, go into the L1box.xsl file in any text editor (Notepad, whatever).

                  Search for
                  Code:
                  <xsl:value-of select="/BOXSCORE/HBAT/H3B">xsl:value-of select="/BOXSCORE/HBAT/V3B"
                  <xsl:value-of select="/BOXSCORE/HBAT/H3B"><xsl:value-of select="/BOXSCORE/HBAT/V3B">

Change the V3B to H3B and that will fix the problem. I'll include that fix in my next set of files.</xsl:value-of></xsl:value-of></xsl:value-of>

Completely uninstall all versions of .net Framework and the savereader (from Add/Remove Programs), then reinstall .NET framework (start with 1.1) and the save reader (then the new .exe from post #19). Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Yep, that fixed the problem and it works. Thanks!
