I bought a PS3 just for MLB '07...back when PS3's were over $650 up here in Canada.

As much as the price sucked compared to today, I don't regret it at all. I've since had a TON of enjoyment out of my PS3. Primarily due to the MLB series, but also from many other games and Blu-Ray movies.

I did the same thing. Went to GameStop, bought a brand new PS3, with a brand new copy of The Show.


SO worth it, I play the game every day and I'm in love.

I traded my Xbox 360 for a PS3 just for The Show and I don't regret it in the very least.

Just bought a PS3 to play this game..

I don't regret it one bit. I've been playing MLB2K10 the past month or so on 360 and was actually enjoying it. I've been debating for a year to get a PS3 to play The Show. I've been playing every major sports games since Genesis. This tops them all. It's crazy realistic and fun. If there's anyone else debating to get a PS3 for The Show I'd say it's well worth it and blu ray is a plus. My only problem is I don't know anyone on PS3! If ya got some time, send me a invite. Not a bad move, I play on my bro's ps3 but out of all his games this is the only game I ever play. Other games look interesting, but I'm always craving this game. I'm planning on buying my own ps3 in the summer.

I was loving mlb 2k10 this year but my 360 was having some issues so I traded in all my 360 stuff and plan on getting a ps3 this Friday and the show

Something must be seriously wrong with me...Im a 40 yr old man who just got in my car and drove down to EB games and bought the new PS3 just for this freakin game!!

I was just that fed up with 2K baseball that I couldnt take it anymore

Oh well...Im loading the game now....let's see if it was worth it....

I did the same thing last year but couldn't stop at that I also bought 46" Sony Bravia XBR and Bose Sound System just for the game lol.

I remember you as we are both top slider makers for 2K and I also ran a league with that game but last year when they decided to **** things up again and make hitting way to damn easy I sold it on Ebay and haven't turned back.

Best baseball purchase I did and when I played The Show on the PS3 back in 07 or 06 I forgot what year I should have bought a PS3 and not the 360 but I didn't want to spend more on a PS3 well guess what after many broken 360's I spent way more money on a 360 then I would have just buying a PS3.

I am glad I am not the only one out there that bought a PS3 for the show, I haven't played another game since I bought the PS3...I play RTTS mostly, but would love to start playing online, do a lot of people play online? This is an outstanding game and the realism is just unbelievable, and its better than any other sports game out there, thats just my opinion of course.

I will be on June 13 when the PS3-The Show bundle is released (at least that's what has been rumored).
