Dunno if it was just me, as I haven't seen it really brought up, but some stadiums had really incosistent framerates for me, mainly New Yankee Stadium. I literally never played a full game in it as the framerate was so hitchy. Other stadiums would be good one game, and poor the next.

Weird, I've never seen this issue and I have been using the Yankees in my franchise for 2 years now.Dunno if it was just me, as I haven't seen it really brought up, but some stadiums had really incosistent framerates for me, mainly New Yankee Stadium. If you change the default setting (720p) on an HDTV to 1080p, you'll notice it.
That's of course if your TV supports 1080p.

Ah, I see. I have it set to 720p. I think the game actually suggests to put it to 720p???? Maybe it's because of this very issue.Comment

Gameplay only? So no revamping presentation? (MLB Network, goodbye Rex Hudler)
I guess I would say the ONE thing that bothered me was that meter throwing meant nothing. Hope that makes sense.
But on the whole, there aren't many big changes to be made. It's a great game, with some slight tweaks it could be even better.Last edited by Whitesox; 11-21-2009, 06:31 PM.Comment

i just hate that rtts is not setup where you can play straight thru. this would make the game WAYmore realistic. when it pops up and says you are on defense, you know the ball is being hit to you. that takes the fun out. if i play shortstop, i should play the whole time on defense and not now when a ball will be hit to meComment

Never, ever, any 3-6-3 double plays.Comment

Which I wouldn't mind so much if my pitcher could run to first in time. But when that catching animation kicks in it's like he's running through a tar pit. Even the slowest batter-runners can sometimes beat him, depending on when the guy on second starts to throw. Ironically, the later the guy on second gets rid of the ball, the more likely I am to get both.Comment

It should happen more as should errant pick off throws to add a risk/reward function to it.Comment

If I had to pick one, it'd be pitching. There needs to be more balls, from the user pitcher mostly.
But fielding is a close second. Here's to hoping that both are given a good look for 10. Boy I can't wait to start hearing some info......Steam: BahnzoComment

Fielding! And the AI comeback deal that kept happening, and wasn'tmuch you could do about it when it started lol... Mainly the fielding gameplay wise. it was pretty bad at times, but plzzzz fix the AI comeback thing that obviously occured frequently whether ppl want to see it/agree with it or not.

A few things:
1). lack of stats for previous years'. I only get to see about 4-5 categories. For example, David Ortiz is hitting 360 against lefties this year so I want to see how he did last year.
2). keep track of award winners from previous years or add this to a player card.
3). Playoffs - pitching rotation - set rotation based on stamina and don't use 4th/5th starter.
4). Reliever stamina/take an off day - we should not need to set sliders to zero. even so, i still get the cpu piching the same relievers in all three games of a series. For example, I knocked the Seattle starter out in the 3rd and Batasta came in for 3 innings. He also came in the next game for 2.
5). injuries - in my franchise there are really no major injuries. the injury list consists of scrubs and AAA. stars only go out for a few weeks.
6). cpu hitter eye. some of these will never fish out of the zone.Comment
