Yeah, we got screwed. 20th in offense, 15th in pitching, while the cubs are 8th in pitching and 9th in baing (or 9th in pitching and 8th in batting)?

St. Louis is too low, the Cubs are too high as usual. Brewers defense isn't that bad, it's actually pretty good and they scored the 3rd most runs in the NL last year and didn't get that much worse.

That being said, our offense may be even worse than 22nd...
Uhh. After Felix and Lee, there is literally nobody in the rotation. Rowland Smith? Erik Bedard who can't pitch more than 10 innings?

And even worse, their bullpen is so weak. Aardsma is all they have, but they don't have a bridge to him so there really is no point in having a good closer.

If a team had Halladay and Lincecum, but had a ridiculously injury prone starer, to go along with 2 unproven pitchers, do you think that warrants anything higher than 19th? Not to mention the weak and thin bullpen

Cubs are always overated. Offense can be much better if someone steps in at 3rd. The offense doesn't stop at Pujols and Holliday. Guys like Ludwick(hurt for a good part of last year), Rasmus, Molina, and Skip have proven they are very good hitters.

Pitching is underated too. Carpenter and Wainwright were cy young guys last year. Throw in Penny and Lohse(hurt last year) and you have a top 5 rotation.

How can anyone with half a brain rate the Brewers pitching better than their batting? GTFO!

Rowland-Smith had a 3.60 ERA and was 11-7. I would not bash him. Teams can't just go out and buy the 3rd starter they want unlike a certain team in New York.

I'm gonna guess Matt Vasgersian is in charge of ratings since we know how much he loves St. Louis

Nice to see the 'Stros got the 9th D. I like a steady fielding game. I can handle all the rest when I play my RTTS, but I can't do squat about my D aside from my player.

Meh, the Cards got screwed last year as well in the rankings and it didn't stop them from being good in the game(though I did use Knight's rosters most of the year so maybe he adjusted for that). I won't make too much of this and am anxiously awaiting March 2nd to prove them wrong!

Hafner who is healthy now, Peralta who was angry last year and now is much happier- more production will now come, Luis Valbeuna, Matt Laporta, Justin Masterson- 10 k's and shutout vs. Chicago, Jake Westbrook- Healthy, Kerry Wood and perhaps one of the best bullpens in the game now.....that about sums it up. OH and not too mention some of the top prospects in the game coming up this year.
