    (1) You can guess the pitch without using Guess Pitch. The bonus players get is from making great contact, which again you can get without using Guess Pitch.

    (2) You'd be surprised how frequently players guess the pitch correctly -- even in the right spot -- and still don't crush it or hit it at all. Baseball is an extremely difficult sport.

Pitching I can get a decent variety on All Star.
This is the main reason I want to pick up 10; being able to change the difficulty of both hitting and pitching. Like you, TM, I feel my best results would be Veteran hitting and All-Star pitching.

With 09 (which I still play on PS2), I go back-and-forth between AS and Veteran. AS, though, I just struggle too much to hit. Veteran is good for my offense but the pitching is way too easy.

        Re: Difficulty Level

Right now I play on default HOF for hitting and pitching. I recently switched to classic pitching, which I like that attributes play heavily into accuracy because I never threw balls unless I wanted to with the meter. However, on HOF I get the feeling my pitchers are too erratic. I like that I am actually issuing some walks, but Jared Weaver walked 4 through 2 innings last night. Might have been an anomaly, so I'll play another game with the Angels tonight.

Default All Star for hitting, default Vet for pitching.

Only change was zeroing the solid hits slider.

            Currently Veteran.

Once I build up my RTTS player I will go to All-star and then eventually to HOF and then stop there. That's how I've played the last few years and I like the results.

AA until I finished a slider set I liked for that level.
Now I'm on HOF with adjusted sliders. (Done)

Was going to use legend again this year but decided I like HOF better for a couple different reasons.

So from here on out it's HOF. Currently in 3rd place- 9-6 with my Yankees and in AA Cubs farm in RTTS..
