Re: New ScreenShots From PastaPadre
The close-up shot of Mauer looks incredible, so lifelike. I love doing screenshots from my games and can't wait to start getting some Tigers' shots going.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't see why everyone is drooling so much over the shot of Cliff Lee. It looks like just another good shot from The Show and isn't close up enough to see how accurate the likeness is.Comment

I think it has more to do with the different player models in the game. The close-up shot of Mauer looks incredible, so lifelike. I love doing screenshots from my games and can't wait to start getting some Tigers' shots going.

Re: New ScreenShots From PastaPadre
I just personally don't like how PP sharpens his images is all. I see the potential in these screens, but there are dreading ringing effects all around each one! If only we could get some standard 1280 x 720 shots uncompressed and unprocessed, because Pasta isn't helping these screens out here by turning up the edge-enhancement knob.
As for the Lee shot, as Scott said the models in this game are what's making my shirt have drool marks but the other thing really is the lighting. I was one of those "minor detail" nitpickers about how the progressive lighting in the last two games wasn't exactly correct, to say the least. This year it looks like they have improved it immensely. Here's what I mean with my post based on this picture in this thread. Did it sound like I was complaining at the time? Probably. Can you see why I pointed out the issue with the progressive lighting that now makes the game look 100% sexier? Oh yes.
That's why the Cliff Lee shot is so astonishing. SCEA knows how to hit my buttons the right way.
