From what I gather when at the CE you could. Not sure about final, but I do not see why that would change.

If someone could correct me like Nem if I am wrong. But I am more than positive you could.

What is the easiest way to hit? I REALLY suck right now and last year I was good.

Unfortunately, I don't think the option is accessible in the demo.

Can anyone tell me if you can beat the outfielders over their head this year? In otherwords, there were rarely any doubles/triples that were hit over the OF's last year, - any help?

Can someone please help me with analog fielding? It's ruining the game for me. I love the pitching and batting, it feels so natural, but fielding is a huge turnoff, I just constantly see errors on routine plays.

When throwing, I see errors whether it's a slight tap on light green, half charge to yellow, or full charge to red. What gives? It seems nomatter what I try the ball will go sailing past a fielder at some point.

Should I be trying to charge until it's in the yellow? With the button press in 10, I would charge until the moment the ball released from the fielders hand, but that doesn't seem to work at all anymore. What on earth do I do?

It's really getting ridiculous, the ball is flying past everyone. I just had three errors on one play. I just don't get it.

It's crazy, because I love literally everything else about the demo.

I have seen one ball hit over an outfielders head, but seems as though outfielders are normally playing deep, and the wind is blowing in from right field. Small sample size though so I really think we need to wait until release to fairly judge this.

I would lower the analog throwing difficulty until you're more used to it. Analog Throwing really punishes you if you don't flick the stick perfectly up down right or left. Also this year it seems pre-loading your throws is even more important.

Could the broadcast cam blurry backstop crowd be a Depth Of View issue. I haven't tried broadcast cam yet but maybe for some reason theres a depth of view filter in the broadcast cam making the background(the crowd) blurry?

                      Its just a theory.

                        it shouldn't be

if this is the issue, it must be an oversight, because I have never seen a broadcast camera (behind the pitcher) in real life that isn't focused on infinity (everything is sharp)

                            Hey guys,

I have one thing to say and one thing to ask.

First, you guys complaining about how long it takes to download the demo - you're very lucky!! It took me 10 HOURS to download, finished about 2:30 this morning !!

Second, after briefly trying the Analog controls, I just want to know that the Classic controls will work EXACTLY the same as '10. My brain just isn't built to figure Analog out, I just want to play a game. I want to know that for Classic pitching you just hit your button to pick pitch, your spot and then hit X to throw it. I want to know that for Classic hitting I just hit X when I'm ready to swing or O when I want to bunt. As for Fielding, I just want to be able to put it on AUTO. I am a simple man.

If you can tell me yes, that's how it works - I will preorder right now.

                            Thanks to all,

                            Waz

It makes it hard to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL new player models. I might play on classic just to focus on the new arm actions of the pitchers, they look great.
I'm usually a classic pitch guy. I've been going back and forth on the demo and have found that I miss watching the player models/animations of the pitcher while using the meter and analog pitching. I'll probably stick with classic for this exact reason.
