    Uniform Interface

I have spent HOURS searching all over the place for pictures, screenshots and information about the new "mix & match" uniform interface.

I have found almost nothing. Can someone describe it, show a picture, explain it? Please.

Also, I would LOVE to know the differences between last year's unis and this year's. Can someone just go through the teams and say "no change" or describe what is different about the uniforms this year for each team. I know about Braves, a little about Twins, some SD, and a few others, but I would love a definitive list.

PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS THREAD. I know it is a question and not in the question thread; that is because I went through all 33 pages (as well as many hours going through other threads and other sites) and still have almost no information. I have been surprised at how some threads seemed alive and thriving, and then someone comes along and says "too much" and closes it. Please don't on this one.

Here are the teams, if someone could say what is different (or nothing changed)

    Braves=
    Marlins=
    Mets=
    Nationals=
    Phillies=

    Astros =
    Brewers =
    Cardinals =
    Cubs =
    Pirates =
    Reds =

    Diamondbacks =
    Dodgers =
    Giants =
    Padres =
    Rockies =
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    Blue Jays =
    Manta or Sting Rays =
(sorry, the above should be the name; are they sunshine now?)
    Orioles =
    Red Sox =
    Yankees =

    Indians =
    Royals =
    Tigers =
    Twins =
    White Sox =

    Angels (NOT in LA) =
    Athletics (or A's) =
    Mariners =
    Rangers =
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
Any screens of combos or the interface would be great as well.

    THANKS!!!

(...and thanks for not closing this thread!)

If I had the game, I'd have done this already. It's what I'm going to be doing on March 8th and putting it into a table.

I just posted a video in the Sceenshot/highlight thread of a Pirates vs Cubs opening day of Franchise mode. It shows a quick screen of how the Mix and Match uni's work. The guy doesn't change uni's, but you can at least take a look at it to get a feel of how it works.

Thanks, man! That is what I wanted to see, and exactly how I was hoping it would work.

Now, I just need details for each of the teams uni's.

That guy seemed to be showing a lot of screens so people could see them; would've been so nice to see ALL Pittsburgh and Chicago uniform options.

                Sweet...thanks again!

So far I have only played with the Reds but they had
                  Home
                  Regular
                  Alternate
                  Throwback
                  Old Throwback
                  Warm Up (Spring Training)

And the Same 5 for the Away set

This was for Hat, Shirt & Pants

Thank you! Are they the same 5 from last year, plus the Spring Training one?

SERIOUSLY, that was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I am enough of a junkie to also wish he did the same thing with hats and pants, but overall that was what I really needed.

Whoever thought to do the mix-&-match is an absolute genius...I cannot wait!!!

I don't know how to give positives, but if I figure it out, you will get as many as I can give.

                            THANKS!

                            {I think he did miss Texas (which is easy; Red, Blue, White or Gray top; pants of white or gray) and Baltimore (I hope they have orange and not just everything black)}

My standard look (that I can now do) is to have Home White Uni's and then Road Uni's that have a colored top, gray pants and road hat. NOW I CAN DO THAT!

This is why I love this, so teams like Boston can wear Red Jersey on the road, the Giants can be Orange on the road. It just makes so much sense, and no more HORRID & TERRIFYING Spring Training Caps (I think there is so much that looks good in baseball, love different things, but whomever made those should be shot out of a cannon and into a brick wall repeatedly! That was style gone wrong!)

                            I love the
                            A's look of '70's
                            ,
                            Classic Yanks Roads
                            ,
                            Astros Rainbow,
                            Florida Green,
                            Colorado Purple
                            ,
                            Dodgers Blue Tops,
                            St. Louis Home,
                            Cubbies Pinstripes
                            ,
                            Reds Classic,
                            Detroit Home
(though I like the 80's version of the Tigers, too)

About the only thing I don't like currently are the SD Military/Gold-Sand Uni's (just not baseball for me; though I am one who loves the brown/mustard ones) and some of the terrible stuff done to warmup/spring training uniforms...with virtually all the Spring baseball caps being included there! They really do look just plain stupid.

That is a sweet video, indeed, namely the uniform selection piece. I also dig the home run derby recap at 2:00:50. Chase Field looks good once again, but it looks like they've lightened the batter's eye for some reason. At least I don't remember it looking like that the last time around.
