During a game in Philly today (Mets franchise), I'm getting ready to deliver a pitch when all of a sudden the game cuts away to Carlos Beltran in right field. Why? Because a BEACH BALL made its way onto the field and Mr. Beltran had to deposit it back into the stands. Classic!

I like when a rookie hits his first MLB homer, he gets mauled in the dugout by his teammates.

Also, noticed some sweat staining on hats at a game in Arizona. (may have been there previously, but just finally caught my eye).

I had a big trade go down in my franchise involving other teams and the announcers talked about it and a pop up came up during the game.

I like when a rookie hits his first MLB homer, he gets mauled in the dugout by his teammates.

That just happened to me! That was the highlight of my game right there. I thought that was pretty cool seeing the beach ball. They also don't over do it. I've played about 40-50 franchise games have seen it once.

Thought this was cool...I was laying a beat down on the Rays(something like 8-1 in the 7th inning) and had Rajai Davis steal third. Next thing the animation shows the 3rd base yelling at the runner and shaking his head in disgust.

I have two things to add.

First a couple nights ago Nyjer Morgan hits his 2nd home run for the season. Both of them have been have been user home runs. We were winning easily and he got back to the bench. All the players were just sitting there not caring that he just hit a home run. Morgan puts his arms up as if "whats up guys" and starts looking around then they all jump up and start hugging him. It made me LOL. My team has good chemistry HAHA.

Last night i was facing Hiroki Kuroda for the Dodgers. I was losing 2-1 at the time and i noticed he was ALWAYS throwing 1st pitch sliders down the middle. I only ever swing at the first pitch if its a fastball or if i guessed the location. Anyway Pence had just been struck out (he bats 2nd for my Brewers) and Braun was up. I said to myself i am waiting back on this pitch and swinging no matter what cause i know its going to be down the middle. I swung later than usual and bang i hit a walk off Home Run off the slider down the middle.

Its those little things in game which are awesome. Those little battles you have. For the rest of the game Kuroda did not throw a slider down the middle on the 1st pitch and most of his 1st pitches ended up being balls.

What game speed are you guys playing on that you get this kind of good stuff? I'm on fast and get none of this... prolly 'cause it's on fast.

I know its been mentioned numerous times before, but I still love the pink bats in franchise mode. although I noticed, armbands are no longer turned pink for mothers day.

they have the sky blue bands for Fathers Day though so thats cool

some of these things may have been mentioned before but ill say them anyway because they are cool to me......

hit 3 HR's in a game with Rod Barajas and after the 3rd one he comes out of the dugout to tip his hat to the crowd for the curtain call

left the game alone for awhile and my outfielders were playing football with a glove. lol

things i have seen pop up from under the score bar.......

Tickets for this weekends game vs the Padres are still available
catch all Dodger games in HD (where available)
something about HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!
the dodgers come in with a record of 21-17 (1st place in N.L. West)

those things are so damn cool to me.

Playing my franchise with the Braves. Just started it out and it's the home opener against the Phillies. It was Tim Hudson against Cliff Lee. I play MoM mode and I noticed him throwing balls heavily at first. So I told my players to take some pitches. Low and behold he was at 90 pitches by the 6th I believe. We were up 4 to 2 going into the 9th. Top of the 9th comes up, I put in Kimbrel. Victorino doubles, Placido singles him home. Rollins ending up getting walked. So there's 2 outs, 2 on and Ryan Howard walking up. Now he hadn't done anything all game and had a bad BA so far into the season. But we all know how quick a fastball can go over the wall. So I intentionally walk him and pitch to Franciso and he hits a sharp grounder to the left side of the 3rd base, Prado dives for it, Jumps up and throws him out to end the game.

2nd close game so far into my chise. It was fun.

There's no better little thing than going with your gut in baseball and it turning out.

But I've been impressed with the pitches rewind and showing you where they went in the zone. It's a pretty game this year no doubt.
