I've been noticing that I'm drawing a lot more walks with this latest update than I was before. All my settings are at default (All-Star), with the only CPU slider change I made was lowering Strike Frequency -2 clicks. I'm thinking I may need to go back towards default on that one, as the CPU seems to throw plenty of balls now.

It seems as though since the last update...

Stealing is pointless because you will be thrown out. If its Jorge Pasada behind the plate and burnett pitching the Molina brothers could steal 2nd (in real life) but I cant even get Rajai Davis there.... doesnt make sense.
Before the last update it wasnt too bad there would be the odd dumb out but now its like youre out every other time u send a runner, where as before you would get more of a break (and more realistic) maybe once every 3 or 4 times.

for the record im referring to stealing with actual base stealers not anybody and also have the slider all the way up for steal success it doesnt matter.

Try sliding in head first. It really helps.

From my experience, unless the opposing team pitches out, stealing is still entirely way too easy

This is how I feel.

I know its a small sample size but I am 6 for 6 in my first 3 games.

I steal just about 3 out of 4 bases and only run with quicker guys with good base running ability. Not sure what you're doing wrong.

I've learned that it doesn't really matter if you take that extra step lead (and just lets you get picked off easier) You can steal the same number of bases simply using the default lead and timing the jump right.

Your PS3 must be connected to the Internet, but if you mean PSN being down, you should still just try it. I never log on to PSN while downloading patches successfully. If you can download and apply the patch, you get an automatic prompt when you boot the game off the media, asking you weather to update or not.

If you are connected to the internet the prompt to download the patch WILL come up when you click on the game icon in the xmb. I know because I updated my game after PSN went belly up.

We all did...the PSN went down on April 20th and the patch was released on April 22nd.

@rick2135: You can check if your internet connection is working by opening the browser...but if it's not working, I don't think it's Sony's fault. Yes, the PSN is still down in most areas, but you should still get the patch if you are connected to the internet.

The patch is so small, he probably got it and did not realize it.

Happened to a few on here already.

Check the game data version.

Hey guys, whenever I try and save my slider set it says "There is no save data." It's like it thinks I'm trying to load sliders instead of save them. This has been happening ever since I downloaded the patch last week. Any workaround to this?

It's not even a subject about programming the stadiums in their current form aren't built that way plain and simple. You might as well say brain surgery it can't be that hard.

It isnt...cut patients head open, take brain out, put new one in, close patients head up. Thats it right? I see it happen all the time on Greys Anatomy so it MUST be easy! LOL J/K of course but you would be amazed at the common logic of complicated things should be easy ONLY because of the professionals in that trade.
