Made a new view... Zoomed in a bit from the latest one I posted here, so I could see those borderline pitches a little better... Facing Milwaukee in my Fantasy Draft Season Mode, with The Brew Crew sporting the worst pitching staff in the league...

This would be a good feature in next year's game. I mean having the ability to do minor camera adjustments on a hitter by hitter basis before the first pitch is thrown, maybe just flicking the left stick in any direction offsets the camera just a bit in that direction. Maybe even saving the view based on the hitter and pitcher matchup. That way, when a reliever comes in later, you can re-tweek the hitters view, the view will be reloaded if the hitter is facing the same pitcher he did the last time.

      Just a thought.

Just want to say thanks. I was being no hit tonight and in the 8th inning, I went to this view. Broke up the no hitter and scored 3 runs in 2 innings. I'm a believer now. LOL

Used spit_bubble's view last night for two games and my offense took a turn for the better.

So, I guess, I shall say thanks.

Just edited the first post, and added a few things:

              1. If you raise the camera too high it will give you a poor view of pitches low in the zone, so finding a balance point is key

              2. Zooming the camera in will help you read borderline pitches a lot better, and help you draw more walks.

How do you get the camera to alternate depending on inside to a right handed batter, compared to a left handed batter

When you go to the Cameras option and pick Custom, you can start with any camera you choose. Make sure you pick one of the Offset cameras, as they are the ones that rotate. Then just customize it how you see fit and it will automatically switch for you according to the handedness (is that a word?) of the batter.

Re: A nice little adjustment: hitting camera offset to the inside...

I will try to relate the View I am using because pictures and stuff don't seem to really help some.

I turn on the strike zone to help get my view right.
I first set the preset to Offset.
I Then I tilt the camera Up, or I lower the camera so I can judge low balls better (this is my weak point) .
Then take the offset and reverse it to inside instead of outside with the right stick. Almost till the front line of the batters box is pointing straight ahead.

                    That's it.

You actually don't need to use "Offset". You can use any of the presets and use the right stick to move the camera offset to the inside. It will then automatically switch sides depending on who is hitting.

In fact I recommend using "Wide" because it pushes the pitcher furthest into the background compared to the other views, and gives you a slightly better read on the ball.

I can't give exact clicks with the sticks or anything, SCEA didn't provide numeric values along with our tweaks made to the cameras.

What view did you start with? Wide? Offset? High?

I've replicated your cam and was able to do it from offset.
