Pretty scared to post anything here but I would like for grass to be more realistic thanks.

Re: Community Day - GRAPHICS & SOUND - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
I agree. My biggest complaint about swings is the shoulders being lurched foward, you can see in the previous picture that his shoulders are back (this is the case with almost any picture you look at of an mlb hitter). batters dont lean forward when they make a normal smooth swing as they do in the show. I wish I was at home to use photoshop to help illustrate my point even more, but just imagine drawing a line from kinslers heel straight up his leg. in the r/l pic it would continue up almost entirely straight to his shoulders. in the show pic it would stop at his rear end.Last edited by jd369; 01-04-2012, 04:29 PM.Comment

Re: Community Day - GRAPHICS & SOUND - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
Will the catcher's equiptment actually fit on them? Or will their equiptment hover around their legs and back. Also will the chest protector make them look like they are 300 pounds with a beer belly. Most chest protectors are flat on somebody, not belly out.Comment

What improvements have been made to the weather/lighting itself?

Re: Community Day - GRAPHICS & SOUND - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
Are the fireworks after homeruns and at the end of games won still going to be in? I'm hoping no. If anything, can it at least be an option for the people that want to turn it off?
I play as the Phillies and they never have fireworks happen after home runs or after a winning game. Thanks.Comment

EN, can you see if the can make the option to have computer generated faces with the correct teams hat on when they show the three players due up in the next inning. Maybe it could be something you could turn on instead of the actual faces. It would eliminate when someone is traded them wearing the hat of the previous team.Comment

Don't let this turn into a wishlist thread guys, when the group visits us we will be in polish and bug fixing mode. Not much is going to change so asking for new features isn't going to happen.Comment

For the love of all that is good...this thread would make me shoot myself if I worked on design team. Umpire legs? Grass? Catcher gear? Bent legs?

Does Karros sound like he's in the same room as Soup and Matt or does he still sound like he's in the bathroom down the hall?
And also, how many new lines were added this year?Yes, I've been here since 2003. No, I don't post much. I'm too busy playing the games.Comment

Re: Community Day - GRAPHICS & SOUND - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
My inquiry is about playable cameras. I want to know if there will be a user defined ball-in-play camera. For example, I'd love to set a camera around the second deck and play from there. Also, if no user defined cam, then were there any additional cameras added besides the same ones we've had.Comment

I agree with the crowd comments.. Currently the crowd only reacts the very second a player crosses the plate or reaches a bag safe. There is no cheering by the crowd when it's obvious the ball will drop in resulting in a base hit or scoring play.
Really kills the realismComment

Re: Community Day - GRAPHICS & SOUND - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
Can the crowd noise be longer, and louder. After a big play it's like 3 seconds of applause and cheering and then back to sounding like the 3rd inning of a mid-June matchup between the Pirates and Royals.Comment
