Agreed there. My comment was meant about the probability of back to the pitcher (up the middle) is more true to life physics now.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Do you find the lack of ability to control velocity much of a hindrance though?
As you know ive always been a strictly meter man only but i like the look of Pulse, does it take ratings more into account than meter?
I guess the only thing holding me back is say, not being able to really ramp up on a fastball when you want to, what do you think?Comment

I'm like you, I've always been a Meter guy but the mode was getting a little stale for me and when they introduced PP at CD, I fell in love! Wasn't a fan of the art at first but it grew on me - the mechanic itself was done REALLY well, IMO.
As far as velocity is concerned - yeah, I too like to ramp it up when push comes to shove but I'm pretty confident that we'll see it in the PP equation for MLB '13! Was hoping for a Classic Pitching type deal where velocity is determined by how long you hold the button down for.Comment

Slab, I got this from the pics thread. I guess apparently we can't ask question in there. But did this cut scene pic come from the game being idle, or was it just a regular cut scene during the game?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
To answer your question, YES it came from the idle cutscenes. I also mentioned that I have an suggestion on my list for futures versions to have these type of things show up in real-time, when coming back from "commercial breaks" in-game.Comment

I was really impressed (referring to your video) with how difficult it looked to time the Pulse being at its smallest. I even noticed you taking your time in order to not lob up a meatball! It looks like it adds pressure to the user and this is a good thing.
Speaking of my surprise in how quickly the Pulse was moving, was that on HOF or...gulp...Legend?
Anyway. I looks a lot harder than I thought it would!Comment

HOF, doubt I'll bump up to Legend with PP - at least anytime soon, lol.
We'll see...Comment
