I'll keep banging the drum until I get some sort of answer. We all have spent over $300 for the Vita and The Show (when you add in Memory Cards and other accessories), the least SCEA can do is just acknowledge us and let us know they are looking into it.

Look at what happened last year with NCAA 12. The tendency glitch that came with one of the patches. Phobia (a member here) led the charge and he was the one that forced EA to come out of hiding and acknowledge that they were working on a solution to the problem. Something like that may need to happen here.
I bought the Vita mainly for The Show and the fact you could use Knight's roster with the Vita. I get freezes all the time now after the PS3 patch. I've started new franchises and still get freezes on both systems. I'm about ready to say the heck with it and sell the Vita and get the "other game" for the PS3 and play it despite the warts it has until the freeze problem is worked out. At least you can play the thing

      Re: Vita Patch?

Thus far I've been ok using cross-platform saves, though the schedules having different times bugs me and kinda worries me that I'm setting up for issues. I only had to sim through 2 series to get out of April when the patch dropped, so it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but still annoying.

This is why we need to hear from SCEA.

          Re: Vita Patch?

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but if they held off on a Vita patch because of the issues with the PS3 patch, that was a worse move than the PS3 patch itself.

They should have just released the Vita patch as well, then given an explanation about possible schedule issues with franchises you have already started on either system.

That way the systems would at least match right now. There has to be something more to this that we don't know. I agree with previous posts. Comments from SCEA are definitely needed.

            Re: Vita Patch?

I come here daily hoping for news on a patch for the Vita.

I wasn't going to start a franchise on PS3 until the opening day rosters rolled out, AND the inevitable first patch for the game.

I've just been in limbo. I play my two RTTS's, and franchise on ps3.
Then just play exhibition games on Vita while I watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I would love some news, actually ANY news, on whats up.

It might not be for Vita, but there's a rumor that a new patch is coming this week or next...

Guess I am one of the upset customers...

I bought the vita when i heard i could take my chise and rtts with me. Come on scea, what about the guys that had to endure countless hours of their wives complaining about how we could have spent that $300 on something shiney for them?

I sacrificed many hours of my wife yelling at me, and now all i hear is "see, stupid thing is already broke". THE AGONY!

no but all seriousness, i really hope they fix this soon. I was fortunate enough to shut off my internet and use my android phone as internet so i have not even dl'ed the patch. I am growing tired of playing my useless rtts on my vita due to the fact i cant transfer over a new one with knights roster, just frustrating.

                  Re: Vita Patch?

I'm another that the MAIN reason I bought a vita was for the show. Yes, I have super stardust, but only bought that to tide me over until the show came out. I was never able to complete a full season on the PS3 because so many others in the house needed the tv, but the vita was a great solution to this!

Cross-platform saves for the same franchise using OSFM rosters, what could be better? Watching the Cubs while playing as the Cubs, what could be better?

Please get this fixed soon as my vita has now just become an expensive paperweight!

That's great, but I still want confirmation from an SCEA employee. And, hopefully the patch is for BOTH systems.

I bought the Vita primarily for MLB 12 The Show and it really didn't live up to the hype. If the PS3 version is a 9, then the Vita version is a 6 in my opinion. I'm selling my Vita with MLB 12 The Show and trigger grips on Ebay. It's up there right now. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll shoot you the link.

30 FPS, fast play only, oversensitive left analog stick ( pitching is a bitch ), buggy cloud transfers.. it's just not what I was expecting judging by the quality of product the PS3 has. it does look good though, lol..

It was hizahowie at theshownation.com who mentioned it, so he's a dev and said there's an emergency patch up on the queue, right now. Don't know if that includes Vita. But he's an online guy so not sure that includes offline stuff...

I hate to be pessimistic, but the silence by SCEA on the issue makes me think it's not for the Vita. Very uncharacteristic of the Show crew. Makes me think the issue is a tough one to fix.

From a business perspective, I can understand why the devs cannot be forthcoming. We *know* they are working on the issue and very much want to fix the problem.

But certain bugs are very difficult to remove, and what would happen when the devs promise a fix but cannot not deliver? There arises some accountability.... for example "SCEA promised to do XXXX" where XXXX has usually been franchise overhaul, haha. Not the freeze issue? I'm hopeful given enough time and information from users having problems, the issues will get fixed. But it takes time and resources.

I sure hope the Vita/PS3 transfer ends up being back to normal. Maybe the fact that I don't have time to play much on both Vita/PS3 right now is a blessing in disguise and partly why I wouldn't mind being excessively patient... but if you have enough time to feel frustrated, it would definitely be more constructive to give the devs info about how the problems that are happening, to help them identify the issue.

Yeah well, saying "take your games on the road" in every stinking vita ad has promised me something, which at this point is not a very accurate statement.

I expect a fix real soon.
