Absolutely. High-Definition HD at its finest. If it's blurry for you that's because you need to upgrade your technology. HDHDTV is where it's at.

I personally dont think its funny.

If the game can show them at 720p, why cant the XMB?
They are being shown on the same size screen and YouTube can broadcast up to 1080p.

Two points that have nothing to do with it.

They have an encoder that saves them at the resolution you see. It's that simple. Maybe next year they can improve it but as it is, if you're that stressed out about it buy a PVR and record the games to your heart's content.

1. Lighten up. It's not that important. We're not curing cancer here.

2. More than likely they are in that format for two reasons. To encode it at a higher resolution would take longer, so it would take longer to save the file.

Also the file sizes would be significant larger, taking up more disk space on your PS3, but also make it much more time consuming to upload to a site like Youtube or Vimeo. As it stands now if I use the PS3 video uploader it takes like 2:30 to upload the game highlight vids. Although single replay vids take less than a minute. I have pretty good upload speeds as well.

The ability to select what resolution you can save them to would be great, and maybe that's something they can implement in the future though.

I think that the saved in-game replays look better, it may be that I now own an LED tv. I have not checked out a Highlight Reel save yet. What do you fellas think?

They're just trying to lighten things up, man. It's a tense time around OS, incase you haven't noticed.

Ok. I am not upset. God gives everyone the right to have their own opinion. I think it looks better in 12, but, it may be my tv. I do not mean to get off topic, but, what is a PVR and how much does a good one cost? Thanks and Have Fun

You may want to check out the Hauppauge PVR. That's what pretty much everyone uses to record the games they play. It's a fantastic little device.

Thanks Pared I will check it out. Is it correct to assume that when The Show is made for the PS-4, that the Highlight Reels and In-Game Saved Replays will run in 720p or 1080p?
