I guess going to a 24 hr walmart is the consensus. I plan to just get the game that morning at GS or BBY. I guess GS since at least you get something for preordering there.

I work overnight at walmart, so I either buy it on my lunch break, or when my shift ends at 7 AM.

I preorder through BestBuy online w/ release day shipping. It includes a ticket to see "42". I have bought it at Gamestop for the past 3 years and it has always been released at midnight with another game.

Even though there are 2 Walmarts within 5 miles from my home, and a Best Buy down the road, I still pre-order all my games from GameStop. There usually is always another big game that shares the same street date as The Show, so a midnight release is almost always in the cards, every year. That being said however, I know that it depends on their corporate offices, they dictate which stores should even be open for a midnight release.

I'll most likely go to Best Buy and pick the game up after I get off of work. I normally take off the week the Show drops, but business has dictated that I cannot this year.

I talked to my gamestop today to see if they were doing a midnight release and said they wouldn't know until it gets closer. He said they used to have them all the time but corporate has put more restrictions on them. He said they usually need 50 preorders to have a midnight release and mine was at 23 do I hope we get there lol

dumb question and couldnt find thread for this but.....is there a difference between American and Canadian version of MLB the show 13 besides the cover? I kind of want the Bautista cover but dont want the game to be in French or something.lol
