I would be willing to talk you INTO it! I bought my Vita last year primarily for the Show and I will gladly buy both again this year. Loved being able to play on my main big screen, then switch over to Vita in bed, on breaks at work, waiting for my wife shopping at the mall...buy it!!!

100% agree. No way I would talk you out of it but into it heck yeah. I got a Vita for Christmas for my wife and all I wanted it for is The Show. Actually that's the only reason I have a PS3 to go figure. Anyway I play The Show more on my Vita now than I do the PS3. Nothing like sitting around watching Tv and playing The Show.

If Amazon has a physical building (warehouse/call center/etc) in your state they are required to charge sales tax for that state.

Though if it were up the rest of the states, they would want to collect the tax on your purchases (and you are supposed to report that on your taxes).

Thank you everyone. It isn't a matter of getting one or not but instead of when to purchase it. I think I will take advantage the Amazon presale of both and purchase a game for a system I don't even own yet just to save $20.

That's because your governor was so desperate for jobs he cut a deal to allow Amazon a special privilege to continue not collecting sales tax in exchange for the warehouse. Your legislature and pending court battles are trying to get it overturned. Enjoy it while it lasts because it won't last long.

Went ahead and took this deal from amazon..the show on the vita for $20 was too good for me to pass up.

I think you should definitely get one but be aware that a price drop is looming, gamestop had a deal a few weeks ago where you could get any used Vita for $149.99, that's what spurred me to get one otherwise I would have waited until the price drop.

Playstation is making an announcement on 2/20, odds are its the PS4, but its likely that a price drop on the vita will be announced at the same time or shortly thereafter. You've got until 3/05 so don't grab one just yet, especially if the Show is your main reason for purchasing.

Yeah I think I'll be going this route this year. Last year I went to gamestop and got it but now I have amazon prime. It'll be nice to get them release day and not have to go the store to pick em up.

I have been following the PS4 news as much as possible and hopefully something comes up in my RSS reader about a price drop as well. I would live to shave $50 off the VITA.

Just pre-ordered this. I didn't check what the promo was but I think it has something to do with Diamond Dynasty. I'm not into that so when I get the message for it I'll put it up here on OS and do a first come first serve PM. Now if I can just finish out my 12 season....
