        Player have their best seasons ages 24-28. After that, numbers regress.

        ETA: Yeah, I am with you though, in the situation of late bloomers. I don't think ANY players should be going up after 30/31, and MOST players should already be regressing at age 29.
        Its actually skill dependent, different skill sets peak at different ages... For the comm day/wishlist thread I wrote a pretty lengthy post about age/skill curves, I'll just link the study - http://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/201...r-aging-curves

          Yeah, I remember that article. That's what I was going for, fast players usually age better, and players with a better approach at the plate also age better because they don't rely entirely on physical gifts, so they can compensate and have something to fall back on when their body starts to slow down.

          And thank you for posting the perfect article. Also a good reminder as a piece of help for a project I am working on for the SABR conference.
