Ok first off never use the Yankees. You'll find out later. Draft a ton of hitters to start. Try to get a high enough pick to get trout. Once you have all your batters, draft young pitchers like Vance Worley. once you get your starting five, draft a ton of young prospects/talent. Don't worry about relievers.
Once done with the draft, you will be making a lot of trades. try to find out what the yanks have because they are in rebuild mode and will give anything away for very cheap. That's how I got king Felix. Trade your prospects and starting batters for better starting batters. Eventually you work your way up to super stacked.
When making trades, get as much out of it as you can, get prospects and relievers on them. Since the logic isn't very good you should be able typo get a stacked team.
Try to get Sandoval in the fifth round. Change his position to catcher, then trade him and a prospect for posey.
Always remember to turn on instant trades and ignore budget.
