Has any of you fellas ever just picked 1 team, and did an auto draft letting the computer do everything on auto, then just work with the team the computer gave you?

Re: Fantasy Draft Results Thread
Yeah I believe we were taking about it a few pages back, I like it, it puts you at the mercy of the CPU's terrible trade logic, but it's always interesting, I usually let myself draft my Ace and my Lineup cornerstone I the first 2 picks then let the CPU take over from there... An idea I had last night was to do 30 team control, auto draft, then hold R2 (without looking) on the main screen to pick a random team and run with it... This also allows you to vito any terrible CPU trades in a fantasy draft franchise...RED SOX NATION!!!!Comment

Re: Fantasy Draft Results Thread
Suffer from Insomnia, so I was up late the other night and figured I would try something...
I used 30 team control and did a fantasy draft, but instead of random teams, I drafted each teams real life 25-man roster (took about 2 hours) and then auto picked the rest of the draft...prospects ended up on different teams and to say the results were interesting in an understatement.
Sir, any tips? I was going to do that, last night, and I made it 15 rounds, but paying special attention to the Giants because I was going to do my best to control that team, and my team looked like this:
C- Wieters
1B - Freeman
2B - Altuve
3B - Machado
SS - Crawford
LF - Upton
CF - Revere
RF - Myers
SP - Lincecum
SP - Zimmerman
SP - Harvey
SP - Minor
SP - Bundy
CL - Kimbrel
Still had the team ranked 29th out of 30 teams overall.

Re: Fantasy Draft Results Thread
Definitely prefer fantasy draft, I feel too restricted when using a normal team, in a fantasy draft I can shape the base and direction of my team from the get go... Something I'm goin to try is drafting a win now sort of team, lot of aging players who can still get it done, but also try to give myself a nice farm to replace these guys in the near future... This would go contrary to my usual, draft young for the long run strategy...RED SOX NATION!!!!Comment

DH/Bench/Trade Chisenhall, move Machado back to SS cause he's a beast, move Lowrie to 3B... Given that a lot of your major league talent are young studs you could probably use some that minor league depth to bring in another big bat if you wanted to or maybe even use some of your lesser talent that you haven't stated to sure up the back end of that rotation...Randomly chose Cleveland for my fantasy team location. Re: Fantasy Draft Results Thread
Thanks for the input. I am definitely going to try to trade Chisenhall as it gets a little closer to the deadline. I assume the game recognizes his value going up if he performs well before the deadline? Not sure on that one...moving Chisenhall to DH for now is probably a good move. Already has committed a few errors at 3rd. I couldn't believe how much young pitching depth I was able to get. It's going to be hard to work all those guys in!DH/Bench/Trade Chisenhall, move Machado back to SS cause he's a beast, move Lowrie to 3B... Re: Fantasy Draft Results Thread
I normally do fantasy drafts with the OSFM Opening Day roster, but I just did one with the OSFM Hybrid v2.3 roster set. I picked the Minnesota Twins because I love Target Field (my favorite park not named PNC Park) and their jerseys.
Sometimes when I go into a fantasy draft I have certain players I want and end up not getting them. Which leaves frustrated with the team I got. That didn't happen with this team and I am really satisfied with the way the team turned out.
