Yes, I'm finding it incredibly too easy... I had to turn down Pitch Control / Consistency both to 0 and I still average 65%-70% strikes per game, only about 2-3 walks, and 7-8 strikeouts.
I've also pitched 3 complete game shut outs already, 1 of them nearly a perfect game with Iwakuma of the Mariners vs. the Tigers lol

In relevance to this thread, it's the pitching that is too easy (for me at least)

Hitting is easier, but not so easy that it's unrealistic. My last 4 games I've scored 7, 5, 2, and 2. Thats pretty realistic. Last year I had a hard time not throwing my controller through my living room window. I am having much more fun this year after I fixed the stuttering problem.

As I understand it, if you use analog pitching, then Pitch Control and Consistency sliders have zero effect. At least this is how it was in previous versions of the Show. Anyone confirm that this is still the case?

Doesn't seem like it. Makes quite a difference just moving it 1 notch. I've already hit 4 batters on 0-2 or 1-2 counts because I slightly missed the release point of my slider or curve. I've adjusted them many times in previous games and this one as well before I settled on 0.

Yeah, sorry, I think you're right (half-right anyway). I must have been thinking of the Control slider--which is not affected in analog pitching. But Consistency does affects the sensitivity of the analog stick and whether you hit your spots.

over a small sample of 10 games or so games pitching on default analog legend, i feel the cpu hitting is far less potent than last year. they dont manufactuure many runs at all. Again its a small sample so perhaps i'll see a difference with more games played. Its unfortunate because last years Legend difficulty for both hitting and pitching felt just right.

I agree, the whole reason I play Legend is for the challenge and this year feels too simple even when adjusting sliders. I have had a few shutouts but also given up double digit runs so it doesn't seem to be completely one dimensional.

Same here man, I'm still on All-Star/Analog pitching and its almost no challenge at all. I have Consistency at 2 and Control at 3 right now. CPU contact and Timing are at 6 and still its way too easy. And I'm quite a beginner with this game. Think I'll try Hall of Fame.

When those of you complaining hitting is too easy reach the age of 70, I think you'll be very happy with how it is now.

I use analog hitting on hof and it is not easy. The good pitchers are extremely accurate and I strike out a ton. Some games I score and others I just strike out. I need more bp
