I'm playing my season gm now against the red solx at holme. its Pavano vs Lester for them. I have confindence off so we'll see what happens. dont wanna touch the sliders! I'll sim thru a 14 gm season next and play one playoff gm and see. hopefully what ur saying isnt tru, but woulddnt doubt it as most sporting gms give cpu boost in playoffs now

Thanks check it out , and I mean in the playoffs I can pitch a near perfect game.
its like no matter what I do (very smart me ) it doesnt matter at times it just gonna happen lol

I dont even know if pitcher confidence matters! the bar for it still shows up, and it will drop when team is rallying against the pitcher. so i have no clue. the option says its to switch the confidence meter on or off, and i have it off, and its still there and it moves so it may be broken unfortunately. red are aggressive ob bases, ortiz stole 2nd! ball went in the dirt so i had no chance. then theyp ut on a hit n run with bard at first. playing playoff gm now... yankees vs angels, im ny at home

Trinity m8, can you make a new post with all your tweaks so far? It seems like you've been doing quite a bit of editing over the last few pages.

I know you don't have a comp, but just make a list of the changes so far!

Sure! i will prolly post on new thread, dori and i hv been messin with these alot, have made minor changes from whats been uploaded online, but from what i havee on this thread theres a little bit more.

so im thinking wind need to be set at least at -2, instead of lowering power dori. next time you hit some look at the wind and see. this playoff gm now matsui and a rod both hit one to right center. and wala! the wind is blowing at 21mph out to right center. so.. just my thinking, check it out next time u hit a couplle in a game

Ya, dori uploaded them yesterday, only minor minor changes since. will post updated set in a few. DOri... i think pitcher consistency does need to go up 1. seeing too many passed balls... been noticing it but wanted a larger sample, and do now. also, with throw errors at -4, a rod threw tex off the bag for one which was nice to see... so im gonna keep it at -4, as -3 seems like theres too many.

I just downloaded the ones in the vault. I know it's only one game but gotta say really liking it so far. I played the DBacks in Oakland. Won it 4-1 with a 3 run walk off homer by Jack Cust. The only home run of the game. Saw alot more doubles then what I've seen on default. I had 3 all game long. I ended up with 10 hits while the Dbacks had 6. The only thing I found alittle off was that my 5th starter, Dallas Braden, struck out 8. But I also upped confidence to 1 over default, since I started the game on meter pitching. I've since decided to switch to classic so I'll lower it back down.

Here is the stats from a playoff gm i simmed to. I was the Yankees at home vs the Angels. going to try and give more details about gm...

Good game overall, angels had bases loaded w/ no outs in the 6th, struck out 1, then popped out next for 2 outs. then gave up a 2 rbi single. brought in aveces, 2 passed balls allowing 3rd run to score(pitcher consistency has to be bumped up 1 for human at least, seeing this too often).

HRs: Guerrero(solo in 9th inning), T. Hunter(2 run in 8th)
Matsui (2 run in 2nd inning), A Rod (solo in 3rd inning).

J. Lackey 5.2ip 7h 5er 2bb 6k

C.C. 5.2ip 8h 4er 1bb 7k
D. Marte .1ip 3h 2er 0bb 1k (losing pitcher)

Damon was thrown out at third going from first on hard hit single to center. i play with auto base running, nothing we can do about this dori but suffer. sucks cuz matsui wouldve had 3 run hr instead. not gonna raise BR speed to +2 i dont think just yet anyway. dont want there to be no caught stealing, so gonna deal with the over aggressive ai base running. its fair tho cuz i will throw ai out at times too.

As far as the cpu getting boost for the playoffs, its possible but i dunno... marte couldve just been off, and i made the mistake of llowing him to face a right in hunter in the 8th when hes a left handed pitcher.

Pitcher confidence was off, and like i said, it must be broken cuz the meter is still there and moves up and down.. marte had zero confidence when hr was hit... so its just broken i suppose. might as well leave it on i guess then.

Again, raising pitch consistency up 1 for HUM only and see what happens, the passed balls are getting out of hand lately ive noticed. Still a gr8 game none the less!
