couldnt agree more...
and evan reducing contact, timing, solid hits the cheap singles problem will persist becasue the fielders, IF specially act too dumb....
try laying downa bunt(or a choper in front of the plate) with reaction below 5 and ull see 5 out of 10 times a weird animation were the fielder just stands in front of the ball still....than whe he wakes up and pick the ball up its too late to throw out the runner.... those are annoying and mess up the AVR with cheap singles just like mlb 08.

I haven't seen any of that, so I'm gold with it.

I believe I use 8 now.

I had it on 10 per some peoples recommendations. I changed it from 10 to 8 because I feel it still keeps some of the ground balls from getting through but my catcher can't dive and grab every ball around the plate.

I think I've got mine at 7-8 right now. I get the improved IF reactions (I agree with those that see the "hitch" before they make a play for the ball), but I felt 10 was a bit too quick for them.

I also have fielder speed zeroed as I find it balances the OF more along with it (though I admit I haven't tried anything between zero and default, so zero may be much, I dunno).

Overall, I like what I'm getting so far, but the real test for me will be when I (finally) start my franchise and see the same guys playing game after game.

I want to see what fielder reaction slider setting everyone is using because this is quite a debated topic and I want to see what the majority of the community thinks the game plays the best at ??

After just playing an online game, I don't understand how you could not raise fielder reaction from default, way too many grounders get past the infielders. I had my shortstop not glove a double play ball hit just to his right, it was ridiculous.

I'm not seeing that. To me I don't see how people want to RAISE the reaction, lol. Different strokes for different folks

Currently using it at 6 but might move back up to 7. Run speed at 1 and thinking of lowering to zero. Just don't like the Long run up snow cone catches off the shoe strings! But with it at 0 or 1 I am still seeing great varied xtra base hits!
