Advice needed: Increasing Homeruns without increasing amount of overall hits

I'm at a loss as to what to do with my sliders at the moment as they seem to be great with the exception of a huge lack of homeruns by both myself as well as the AI.

My current setup has my contact, timing, and solid hits at 5 and power set to 7 for the user. I have a tough time hitting even a single pitch out of the park about 6 out of 7 games. Then I'll get a game where I hammer the AI team for 4 homeruns (Although that happened in Colorado). I've experimented with raising the power to 8 with no results (Actually when I tried putting it back to 5, I hit my first opposite field homerun of the season. I just don't get it).

I've experimented with raising my solid hits to 6 and while I saw an increase in home runs, I was also getting way too many hits upwards of 14 hits a game.

My team also leads the league in home runs allowed. I think Yusmeiro Petit just gave up his 2nd and I'm 2 games past the All-Star break. I've got the AI sliders set up using Psycho's default settings too.

I'm really at a loss for what to do here as my stats are getting really out of whack and my power hitters like Reynolds and Upton are sitting in the low teens as far as HR production.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. This game is amazing but the lack of the long ball on both sides is really hurting my enjoyment of my franchise. Thanks!
