Re: All Star - Analog Sliders

Just wrapped up game 3 of the series. Really struggled by chasing the curve ball. but that is my fault lol.

Baltimore- 0 runs on just 3 hits and 1 error
Rays- 3 runs on 10 hits 0 errors

So for the series with Baltimore i batted .240 and the Rays batted .245

    Im enjoying the slidders

Yes. You will also get used to what a 4 "looks like" so you won't have to decrease them and count, but that certainly works.

another thing I am liking is for example : i have gotten a few "exscuse me" type hits where i meant to try and check my swing but instead end up tapping out a weak ground ball. I like that cause it seems so real

Re: All Star - Analog Sliders

For regular games (exhibition, Franchise, etc.), the sliders work great! Nice variety hits, HRs turned down, etc.

But for my RTTS player, who is an absolute beast after 10 seasons, the only hits he gets are grounders up the middle (which is odds, because I hardly get grounders up the middle for regular games).

So, I just use the default sliders for him. But for normal games, great stuff!

              Thanks!

where did all the slider post go? There was one newer thread with analog allstar sliders and it was the most realistic Ive played with yet. I tried yours, I just dont like the 5 and 6 computer pitching rating. It leaves too much corners pitching not enough left over the middle and not enough missing by more than an inch. The other one I saw on here before had it 4 and 4 for computer pitcher consistenty and control and 1 for SF and I consently get 60%-70% strikes 3-4 walks a game, and about 9 hits a game. n PLus the spray chart is the most realistic ive seen yet. I watch live babseball about everyday and one thing I do that nobody else does is bump baserunner speed to 7 and put arm strength to 6. With this you get realistic baseruning beating down the 1st base path. throw power is too slow at default compared to real baseball.

When batting on allstar it's hard to get realistic CPU pitching results. HOF gives you the most accurate results. I'm messing around with some analog sliders right now that is HOF/AS (Hitting/Pitching). They are working out pretty right now for my liking.

I dont know I like mine thee way it is, IM right in line with league averages and the spray chart is realistic. I try legend some time but at 4control -4consis. -1SF on all star im pretty happy.

my bad I use 5 control 4 conistency not 4 - 4. I'm open to trying other slidrs out. But this is the most realisic Ive seen in All star analog.

Hey guys I'm new here but I've been trying to find a solid analog slider recommendation. There are just wayyyy too many HRs in this game. I'm going to use this one tonight and I'll post some results.

Wow..for a while I thought nobody was trying this slider out, so I sort of leaving the slider as it was. I feel pretty okay with this slider on All-star difficulty

Please give some feedback if you guys do find out something that should be improved =)

I always use the sliders since I use analog for everything. I was constantly losing close games until I got smart with my pitches and being more patient at the plate.

Yah! I think being patient is really important. I always grind it to 3-2 count. If you are patient enough you should be able to get a couple of walks per game. However, some pitchers do throw some unbelievible accurate strikes at the corners.

i do enjoy these sliders alot..the best sliders ive used for my style of play..my only problem is im striking out ridiculous amounts of times...in my tigers franchise.. c.c. sabathia struck me out 22 times...next game.. aj burnett struck me out 14 times... it seems even with perfect timing..my batters always miss..and i cant strike anybody out..in that first game against the yanks.. my ace only had 3 strike outs... any tips? or suggestions to help me out would be appreciated
