Yeah I don't really need A-Ball to be playable. I would rather that just be replace by "Lower Level" players and have like 30-40 players you can stash there.

      Re: 2026 off season rosters

      Hey OS community,

I’m a long-time member here and, like many of you, a huge fan of the TrueSim roster project (Cycloniac and crew). In my opinion, it’s the most realistic foundation in the vault, and my outlook on ratings aligns perfectly with their "Stats 1st" philosophy. I’m not here to reinvent the wheel, but to share a project I’ve been working on to solve some of the persistent immersion issues we face in Franchise mode.
      The Problem: SDS Limitations
Even with a perfect base like TrueSim, we are often locked out of manipulating quirks, hot/cold zones, and specific primary/secondary position combinations for most players. This results in even the most versatile real-world players feeling "cookie-cutter" or limited once you get into a deep save.
      The Bryan Torres Example:
Take a guy like Bryan Torres in the Cardinals system. He isn’t a top-tier "Blue Chip" prospect—he’s a 28-year-old high-OBP utility type who just got added to the 40-man. In the real world, he’s a unicorn who has played every position except pitcher and shortstop, including Catcher, Middle Infield, and Center Field.
In a standard SDS setup, you simply cannot give him the eligibility or the specific quirk profile that accurately depicts that kind of Swiss Army Knife versatility. He’d usually be stuck with just two or three secondaries, and his defensive penalties would make him unusable. Under my workaround, I’ve exported unique templates that allow for these "impossible" position combos, ensuring a guy like Torres actually functions like the specialized bench weapon he is in real life.
      The Workaround:
I’ve spent hundreds of hours building a "Prospect Master File" by exporting unique fictional players from various vault projects and my own deep-franchise saves (where I emptied the FA pool to force the game to generate high-quality, unique bases). I am essentially taking these "unique" player templates and applying the TrueSim statistical formulas to their attributes. This ensures they remain perfectly balanced with the TrueSim base while featuring:
      * Bypassing SDS Locks: I’ve implemented custom quirks and hot/cold zones that SDS usually keeps "grayed out" for created or edited players.
      * True Defensive Flexibility: Hand-edited secondaries that go beyond the 3-position limit to reflect modern "super-utility" roles.
      * Fangraphs-Accurate Depth: I use the Fangraphs Organizational Depth Chart to ensure MLB, AAA, and AA levels have every player they should, stashing high-priority "A-ball" prospects in the pool to keep the long-term pipeline authentic.
I genuinely want to spread the word about these creative workarounds so others can have the same immersive franchise experience I’m having. I’ve completed a total overhaul of the St. Louis Cardinals system and am gradually moving through the rest of the league.
I’ve had a few people from Reddit ask if I do custom work for other teams. If you’re someone who doesn't have the time to do this yourself and wants your team’s farm system (Top 10, Top 20, etc.) overhauled with this level of 1-to-1 detail, I’m happy to help for a nominal $1 per prospect—just a small way to cover the time it takes for the deep research and manual edits. But the main goal is just to get these unique profiles into the vault for the community.

ok up to date V1.10 uploaded now that today was a quiet day with the stove. I don't think Ill release another update unless we get Bellinger singed along with a few other free agents we are waiting on.

but yes do note you cant do a 4 year 240 million contract. It might be time to get some of those free slots filled too but I was holding off until teams are finished hate to do that work and not have extra room to move guys around

Welp, shortly after I posted this, Belli agreed with the Yankees
