The stats your posting look great. Is that still the 5/24 set you are using?Really wish sports games played to ratings!

Nomo's set are very solid imo. I also use his in my MoM. I have made a few tweaks for my own personal preferences, but his are very solid and I have been very happy with them.Really wish sports games played to ratings!

Re: Stats-Based CPU Sliders [MLB 15 Version]
Sorry for a long silence in the thread... I've been a tad busy to follow up on things but I have been continuing to get CPU vs. CPU games in to see how the stats without ever simming come out. I'm though the All-star break and I may start posting screen caps of key stats when there might be some interest.
People look for different things, so I cannot answer this type of question. My approach is all fairly mechanical, in that I look at stats and change sliders in ways that the stats become more aligned with the recent MLB average. You can click on the link for 2015 stats in my signature and see if that's the type of things you are looking for.
If I were to improve on things from the current posted set (which was made out of that Google spreadsheet), then I'd probably tweak BR Steal Success/Speed. Even though the average steal success rate is right on (about 72%), I've been finding the best base stealers in the game are quite a bit more successful than they should be; they almost always are successful. The reason why the overall average still comes out right is that there are many failed hit-and-run attempts by CPU managers, and mediocre base runners often get caught in them to balance things overall.
Hoping for better CPU manager AI for the next year!Comment

I would love to see updates if you have the time Nomo. I am playing no sim MoM. Your last update screen caps looked pretty good. Would love to see more to see how its playing out.Sorry for a long silence in the thread... Re: Stats-Based CPU Sliders [MLB 15 Version]
I'm taking a break of running games, but at some point will continue. It's kinda crazy that I'm getting 2430 CPU vs. CPU games in just to see how stats come out, but have always been curious. Remote play on PS4 has been a big help...
I actually did experiment with those sliders in simmed games to see if sim and gameplay results can be put on a more even ground.
Those sliders do affect several things, but ultimately the CPU managers do not really handle starters/bullpen like real-life managers do these days, so there wasn't a combination I was very satisfied with when I compare the stats to the MLB averages.
I think the low hanging fruits in The Show right now is CPU managers... the game will substantially improve when they do IMO.Comment

Re: Stats-Based CPU Sliders [MLB 15 Version]
I haven't tested with Quick Counts this year... unless CPU logic has changed substantially and specifically for QC, I'm not very optimistic the slider set presented here would work well. When I did some experiment with QC last year, it required too much of change in various sliders to even feel that the effort would be worth, so I did not go further. While I'm not surprised if things have gotten better this year, QC by design isn't really meant to be a realistic mode anyways, so I don't really expect things to be realistic enough for my taste in the end.Comment
