    Hey Mike,

I play with QC on and I been struggling on offense. I did go down to Veteran+ hitting cause All-Star I kept getting jammed and weak contact. I am now trying your newest tweaks but still on Veteran+. Would you lower the sliders at all on Veteran+ or would you keep it on All-Star and raise a slider?

If you're still messing around in difficulty levels, I'd do 2 things:

      1) Don't mess with the sliders until you settle on a level you like.

      2) Practice mode. A lot.

Mike downloaded 2.0. Why is manager hook so high. Thought they was an issue taking starter out too soon

Also question for u or anyone. On your live stream the CPU would throw you a taken pitch and the circle where it lands has the pitch type and cover associated with the pitch. What setting is that? Mine comes in I have to hotbed R2 and it shows the Coker and pitch of said at bat

Take a few minutes and read the first post. There are some sliders that you need to adjust before the first pitch of a game.

I'm guessing you're writing from your phone? From what I can try and decipher, you're wanting to turn on the swing feedback (I forget the exact name) under General settings.

Again, all of this is in that very first post. You'll save yourself a lot of grief by reading through it once.

                Rays BABIP .400
                60-64% strikes for both teams
16% foul balls for both teams
Marlins 21% misses per total swings
Rays were 32%, but they are like that in real life.

The changes I made to 2.0 for this game were:

                +1 human power to 5
                +1 human timing to 1
-1 human foul frequency to 4
                -1 solid hits to 6
+1 human reliever stamina to 6

I streamed the entire game, and it was probably the most realistic game I've ever played of The Show.

Mike, great to see these numbers and the 'feel' coming aligned at the same time. I was gravitating to 5 power 6 solids as well, but hadn't done so yet. The fact you have and it played out is enough for me! I haven't been brave enough to go lower than 3 on the timing yet (still K'd 8 times in last game as was trying QC out for the first time in an age and with the 0-2 counts you sometimes get, it cranks the strikeout totals a little) but even with three it's a beautiful thing!

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '17 Sliders

Played a franchise game last night with the tweaks you did to 2.0 and had a great game. Lost 3-5 to the Red Sox. Their BABIP was .320 and mine was .280

Great feel to the game! Thinking we are getting closer to the sweet spot with these sliders.

I was hesitant about Legend pitching but man, I'm loving it and the challenge it brings. Definitely have to strategize on each pitch and not just button press and pitch the same ole pattern to each batter. Have to look at hot zones/cold zones, mix speeds and locations to get k's. I had 2 pitches that I knew I was gambling with location when positioning the cursor (fade) and as soon as I missed the mark on the meter and let it go, I let out a big "uh-oh". I pretty much served those pitches on a platter for Mookie and Hanley. But it was my fault and I stayed away from that location and mixed my pitches in their next at bats to get them out.

Can't wait to play more games with these new tweaks.

Re: Mike Lowe MLB The Show '17 Sliders

Played my first game with these sliders and man o man what a game. I thought right away I was going to poo poo them. Chris Dickerson led off the game for me with a home run. I thought well this is too easy.... then I looked at the location of the pitch. Tanaka hung a slider belt high over the middle. I should hit that out. Pitching with meter and legend with all aides off has changed EVERYTHING. I walked 4 batters. Archer had 100 pitches half way in the 6th. LOVE it....won 3-2. You get punished for pounding zone and its hard to locate corners without vibration or cursor.

My one question you might not know is how do you think these will play with hybrid?

Tried a couple of games with the new set. It was beautiful. All the problems I had with the game were negated. Great batting, pitching and fielding. Thanks Mike. Now I can't wait for the hybrid or osfm 2.5 rosters to start the season.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback, folks! I'll be making one more small tweak to my game today, and if I see what I'm hoping to see, I'll share v2.1 with you all!

                          In my May 4th game:

                          Marlins win 10-4

Marlins and Rays both had BABIP in the .380 range.

                          Marlins 3 2Bs, 3 HRs, 7 Ks, 5 BB, 1 error
                          Rays 3 2Bs, 1 HR, 11 Ks, 1 BB

Pitch % looked good on both sides.

12% fouls for Marlins, 15% for Rays.

25% misses on swings for Marlins, 28% for Rays.

I'll be making a few more minor tweaks, then posting v2.1.

                          Stay tuned!

Great work! What are your thoughts on using these with pure analog from a compatibility perspective?

                            Thanks!

It should be fine. Measure your output against post #1. We all should be doing that, regardless of what options we're using.
