The good.
- Very deep franchise mode. Mind boggling how much was put into the franchise mode.
- Games can be completed in less than 30 minutes. With generated pitch count on and with fast speed enabled. Nice to see you are able to hit/pitch with a generated count. Last year this was not the case.
- Spring training games!
- New fielding animations are nice.
- All kinds of hits. Bloopers, line drives, etc.
The bad.
- Cpu base-running AI bugs. Batter hits for triple. Runner from 1st heads to third and stops. Batter goes to third. Both players on third base. Ball is thrown in, runner decides to run to home. Easy out at home plate.
Another example. Pop up between 1st base and home-plate. None of the infielders go for the ball. Ball drops fair and bounces out foul. Should have been an easy out.
- Too many strikeouts! Batting is a challenge this year.
- Easy hitting is too easy.
Things I would like to see in next year's game.
- Random schedules in franchise mode.
- Behind the pitcher view.
