Re: New to ASB, have some questions
Yeah, I was waiting hard too. But I actually had the day off from work today, so I just thought I would ask around to see if any stores had MVP in. Gamecrazy had one copy, so I went and grabbed it.
It's a fun game, I don't think I could got through a whole a whole season, let alone several like I did with ASB 2004. You can just tell that the ASB Dev's hearts are in baseball. It is not that way with EA. I mean some of the stadiums just look aweful. How can you be a baseball game dev, and not even take the time get the color of a stadium right. Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix is dark green. In the game is a like a blue/purple mix. I was pretty stunned actually. Unless the BOB changed this year and I have no idea what I am talking about
. But they don't have the dirt path from the mound to the plate either, so I have a feeling they just decided to make it purple .
Anyway, that is a pretty small gripe. I don't expect all the little things to be perfect in MVP, it is just not that type of game.
So yes, I cannot wait for ASB05.
