$hit I just called to see if the game was in at EB and he told me he already recieved 3 boxes of games today and ASB05 wasn't even in there. I called the other 2 EB's that are close by and none of them have it. There telling me they might have it tommorow. Arghhhhhhhhh .... I preorderd a month ago too........... pissed off!

I just called the one in Pt. Loma and this is what the girl said when I asked if they had the game in stock:

"Nope, not today. We get it in tomorrow. No, wait, let me check that again. (pauses while she checks) No it looks like we're not getting it in until the 8th."

I said, "You mean NEXT month? You sure you're not looking at the PS2 release date?"

She said "Yeah".

So I say, "I'm looking at their website right now and it says NOW SHIPPING. Doesn't that mean anything?"

She says, "Well yeah it's shipping but we're not getting it until the eighth."

I replied, "Doesn't that seem like a long time in transit to you?"

She starts babbling on about 'Just going by what the computer says.'

So I end the conversation laughing my *** off at either their ineptitude or attempted coverup.

EB Games, here I come!

For you San Diegans- I called EBGames at UTC and Mira Mesa and they both have it in stock.

Gamestop messed up and they know it. I just called them again and he said they've recieved all their shipments and it's still not in. Earlier in the day he told me sometime today. Now he said he's not sure WHEN it will come in for Xbox.

He then went on to say that if I was able to get the game elsewhere and wanted to cancel my preorder and get my money back, that would be fine. So I went to a new EB down the road from me and they had it. Looks like that order will be cancelled at Gamestop....

Now I have to run some errands before playing.....

I did the same thing JoeBoo, but since I have had it preordered for so long, I figure I might as well just buy the game at eb and use that money at GS for SC:PT . Works well, and just looks like I bought one new game to the wife, LOL
