I just uses the first part of the song for batter walkup and pitcher entrance, but uses the full song in the menu system.

The joke is custom batter songs is not explained anywhere at all in the instruction manual. If somebody bought this game on the spur of the moment and didn't know about this forum or any other online communities they would never be able to use this feature unless they found it by accident.
For what its worth, I am a bit dissapointed in it. I wish the song played everytime the batter came up, but maybe its better that it doesn't so I don't get completely sick of the song.Comment

I hear you, I just knew it was in the game, so I made a point to figure out how to do it.
The song not playing all the time might have something to do with what game speed setting you have it set to, Fast is default, Normal is the other option. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, just a thought.Comment
