I believe what the reviewer meant was Acclaim wasted way too many resources, memory, etc. making the Fielder Cam.

You're right though... bad review IMO.

To be honest i never thought that the fielder cam would be that good anyway because ive always liked their normal camera.

Actually, ASB Man said the FielderCam was something one of the developers had created and toyed with on his own last year, and they were just using it for their office games. They liked it enough that they decided to include it as an option this year. So they didn't have to "build" it from scratch.

isn't funny that all last year, the reviewers spent their time complaining that the "pitches were too fast" or "it's impossible to hit the ball." Even though I'm sure fans of the series, like myself, never had that issue and felt the speed was true to life. Now...The reviewer said "Even at the most difficult level and at the highest speed option, however, pitches don't seem to whip in with enough force.".

Whether or not this is true, we'll see Wednesday. I just wish they'd all stick to one story. My only complaint about the speed last year, is that every other baseball game seems too easy to hit on now.

Is this a 100% sure thing? Because the IGN reviewer (I know, I know) seems to say that the fielder cam is the biggest drawback to gameplay, and I would hope that he would mention if it can be turned off. If not, he should have his reviewer's license taken away; that is very misleading to say the least and may cause some folks to steer clear of ASB. Let's hope you're right!
