my first 2 games and i like what i see but man that camera needs some work.
fielder cam is disorienting in the outfield because it doesnt always start off behind the fielder. if it was behind the fielder right when the ball is hit like it is with the infielders, then i wouldnt have a problem with it. its the only cam i will use because this is one of the reasons i bought the game as it reminds me of tecmo super baseball. but there should have at least been a quick "center" button because there isnt enough time to control it panning from left to right. one thing i love though is zooming in and looking up for flyballs.
one wish for next year though is to have the option to have the cpu use a different camera at the same time that i use fielder cam because having the cpu field the ball with fielder cam kind of disconnects me from my baserunning.
another thing i dont like is the way you have to delay your swing inorder to make contact but i should be able to get used to this.
and another wish for next year is to make the replay cam one of the fielding cams. it reminds me of tommy lasorda for the genesis because of the way the ball gets bigger as it rises through the air.
the game is pretty good and i dont know which i like more. i have all three. MVP's lefty glitch and MLB's perfect throwing accuracy are my main gripes about those. and i almost didnt buy ASB because the guy at the store told me that you cant save during a game and that only ESPN has that feature. thats the main reason i wanted the game in the first place and he almost convinced me not to. idiot.
