Re: How are injuries in YOUR franchise?

These are my Cubs injuries as of May 19, 2004:

Paul Bako broken toe on the 60 day DL due back mid July.
Todd Walker broken finger due back mid-late June.
Jose Macias broken arm on the 60 day DL due back mid July.

I've also had quite a few day-to-day injuries. I like dealing with injuries it makes you more of a manager.
Coming is my style, but I have to go.

I'm about 50 games into my Royals season and here are my injuries:

Ken Harvey out for the season
Benito Santiago out for the season
Mike Sweeney on the 60 day DL (will be back in mid-September)
Travis Lee out until July (picked him up to replace Sweeney and he was on fire until he got injured)
Angel Berroa out for 2-3 weeks (just got him back)

Rough year in terms of injuries.

Re: How are injuries in YOUR franchise?

I'm also playing with the Cubs and have been hit by injuries:

Derrick Lee - out for year ACL
Ramon Martinez and Alex Gonzalez are both on the 60 day DL

Martinez did a stint on the 15 day dl too...

Moises Alou also went on the 15 day DL and hasn't been the same since...

I just traded for Greg Myers from Toronto but he has one of those nagging day to day inuuries that won't go away..so I'll probably have to put him on DL...

I also have had day to day injuries that went away to Grudz., Walker, Lee and Bako.

Nothing to my pitchers who are carrying me(best in baseball) so far. My offense is 2nd worst in NL. If Sosa wasn't having a monster year, I do't know how I'd manage to score the 2 or 3 runs a game I do.

Re: How are injuries in YOUR franchise?

                  Khalil Greene-15 day DL
                  Mark Loretta-15 day DL

                  Their replacements:
                  Rey Ordonez
Josh Barfield (sorry, I didn't have any second sackers).

As long as I don't have any major injuries, then I'll be okay. Now if those guys would stop doing face plants into the outfield wall.

Where do I start? B. Giles is out for three months. Klesko is out for three months. Nevin is out for five months and T. Long is out for eight months. Keep in mind all these injuries occurred in April. Needless to say, my team resembles the Padres AAA club... the Portland Beavers.
