found an easy "fix" for me, maybe it works for others...
let me first off say that I have no idea if this was a fix to the freezing or a very strange coincidence.....but I couldnt get out of the first inning without freezing and my disc was just collecting dust waiting for the patch. the 3 game load fix didnt work for me, nor did any of the other fixes.
so anyway, after watching so much real baseball i couldnt take it anymore and decided to play a game piece by piece by using the in game save feature. so I loaded my one franchise save and started the same game I'd never gotten far in and saved it right away at the beginning into a new different franchise save. I then ended up playing the entire game, saving every inning for fear it would freeze at any point using this same new frachise save.
I have now played 7 games without any freezing, and I still use the in game franchise save every other inning just in case this is part of the luck I am having or in case the freeze comes back.
So I'm jsut sharing this in case it works for anybody else, not sure if it would...but it is odd that I frooze EVERY game until i tried this method of playing. anyways the patch should be coming early next week i guess...i honestly hope it has a few more fixes in it than the freezing but we'll take what we can get..
