This may sound crazy, but I think that loading franchises and settings cause some glitches (At least in my game).
1. I started a franchise and played my first game. I listened to the commentary and noticed that the announcers were NOT saying that certain players had 0 HRs and 0 RBIs last season. In fact, they were saying the actual stats from 2005. I went on to play 5 more games and same thing. Actual stats. Then I saved my franchise , turned off my XBOX and eat dinner. Now I just loaded my franchise and the announcers are now saying the 0 HRs and 0 RBIs statement. Mad me mad as hell. At first I was like, well maybe it’s just a random glitch. Then I noticed I didn't set something on my franchise and decided to start it over. I then proceeded to play my first game and found the announcers were NOT saying the 0 HRs and RBIs thing again. I was like YES. Then I saved and loaded and there it was again. 0 HRs and 0 RBIs. Every time I load my franchise it starts this bug and if I start a new season and don't save they say the correct stats.
2. I started a franchise and thought that the 0 HRs and 0 RBIs thing was because it was season 1, so I decided to sim to season 2. However, when I got to the playoffs I noticed that the playoff series were set to 1 game only. I know for a fact I had it set at 5-7-7. So I started my franchise over again and then simmed to the playoffs. Now the series were correct, 5-7-7. I didn’t like the end results of my season, because CPU traded a lot of key players so I decided to start another franchise. This time after loading my franchise, I loaded my slider settings, simmed to the end and my series were back to 1 game series. So I started testing my theory and every time I loaded my setting while in my franchise my playoff series would go to 1 game. I have now started a franchise and decided to set my sliders in my franchise and then save just my franchise. That seems to have worked, because it saved my settings as well and my playoffs are back to 5-7-7.
I know that was a lot, but this announcing and 1 game playoff was really bothering me. Has anyone else experienced this?
