If you want to fix the lineup problems...

I didnt know whether to put this in the Bug/Glitch threads since this is more of a solution than a problem but anyways:

Obviously everyones been talking about the problem with lineups down the road in franchise mode with players that usually bat somewhere else all of a sudden hitting leadoff. THis most often occurs with Beltran, Abreu, and Drew, among a few others. Anyways I've found it works to edit the baserunning ratings of either the normal leadoff hitter or the player thats been replacing them to avoid the problem.

For example, Abreu has the greatest speed on the Yankees (84 to Damon's 82, which I thought was a bit slow, I think). ANyways by either editing Abreu's baserunning ratings down (speed, basestealing, etc) or Damon's up, the problem is avoided.

WIth Beltran, Reyes' power is a bit high so the CPU thinks he's better suited off below the leadoff spot and uses the next best basrerunner Beltran, to fill in for him.

Give it a shot...I tried it and through the first year of my franchise nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

Working...
