FP, you are the man. I can't believe that you have had the patience to answer all these questions. I still might be leaning towards ASB, but these answers have been suprisingly honest and upfront. Thanks a bunch for the info.

Dude I'm so very sorry that I am posting so many questions... I just want to get all arguable questions answered.

Is the coke bottle lit up at night in Pac Bell?

          What's Bonds's rating?

Are there HUMAN sliders (affect YOUR hitting, pitching, fielding, running, etc.)?

Is the B.O.B.'s roof closed like Miller Park and SafeCo Field on this game?

Will the crowd/announcers recognize BIG things (perfect games, hitting for the cycle, game winning grand slam, etc.)?

I don't understand the Power Pro hitting. Can you clear it up a little bit for me?

Are the new barstool seats above the green monster in Fenway in this game?

Again, sorry for all of those questions, but everyone else wants to know.

          <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

          No.

          100.

No human sliders. There aren't really any tuning options (throw speed, run speed, etc.); all the stuff we have is to make the AI to play like you want it to and to adjust the game to your skill level.

          None of those are closed.

The announcers recognize a lot more stuff than last year, but I don't have a list.

Power Pro hitting gives you a meter, a bar you fill up by holding down the swing button (there is only one swing button here). You release the button to swing. You also move the cursor to hit the ball. Once the meter fills up, it starts going back down again. If you hit the ball with the meter full, you hit it hard. If you hit it with the meter empty, you hit it weakly. I heard Baseball Advance had a system like this, but I never played it myself.

No, stadium art was finalized very early compared to the rest of the game.

Hey FP, thanks for answering all of my questions.

I just remembered one more quick question though...

Does the game recognize when a player passes a single season/career record (I mean like during the game)?

                          Fatpitcher,

Thanks for your patience and your replies. I've felt that your posts, including those from last year, have been very fair when describing your game and your competition. I have a few questions I'm hoping you'll take a stab at.

                          In your mind:

                          1. What are the 3 most important improvements to WSB2k3?

                          2. What are the 3 most dissapointing things about WSB2k3?

The fact that WSB does not have body scaling and is not very good at recreating stances and pitching motions is very dissapointing to me. In my mind, that is the single most important part of recreating the experience of playing with Barry Bonds,[insert any name], etc. And it has been that way since WSB2k2. WSB2k1 by WOW still blows away any of the VC versions of WSB when it comes to this area. It is also very suprising since WSB is billed as an eye candy / arcadish brand of baseball.
