I got really into my MVP 05 dynasty a couple of years ago and built a Microsoft Access database that I used to track statistics in a deeper fashion than the game was programmed to do. I would put all of the stats from the final boxscore into the database and from there I could generate reports based on the info.
Currently the database can generate reports for:
* Month to Month stats
* Home/Away
* Stats by Opponent
* Miscellanous Batting Stats (i.e. BB/K, PA/BB, AB/HR, etc...)
* Pitching Game Scores
It can also recreate the boxscore for my team for any game.
I am going to be using the same database for my franchise in MLB 2K8 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things I should add to it.
