    Stats Glitch, error or insanity

Not sure how often this has been seen, but I caught the game screwing up stats in one instance, I'm guessing it's happened more often but I just haven't noticed.

Here's the situation: I'm the Orioles at the Angels. Guthrie pitched a good game, I took him out in the 8th and replaced with Jim Johnson. In the 9th I warmed up Sherrill but never actually brought him in. Orioles win 5-2.

Things look fine in the in-game box score. I exit, save franchise, then go back to look at some stats. Sherrill is listed as the winning pitcher and having pitched 7 innings (all the stats looked like Guthrie's). Johnson had his two innings. Here's the real whacked out part: in the hitting area the batters are all out of order and one of my relief pitchers--Parrish, who is on the team but did not play in this game--is shown to have batted.

    Yikes.
