      Has anybody's My Player glitched at all? Mine was in his fourth professional season and it would freeze when entering the off-season. While I made a back-up save, it was during the end of his rookie year (with stats nowhere near the level he was at the time).

      So has this happened to anyone else?

        I'm a second baseman for the Oakland A's. I'm in my first full season, after a great rookie year of .280/25/60 in 79 games. It's almost the ASB of '11 and I'm hitting .319/33/88, but most importantly I have the A's in first place thanks to a dominant Dallas Braden.

        I wish my stay in the minors was a little bit longer, but I can't complain because I purposely picked a team that was thin in the infield. Having a blast, though!

          So im a starting pitcher for the royals and i just got called up. I was thinking about adding another pitch but i don't know what would be good for my pitcher. Right now i have a 4 seam fastball, a 12-6 curveball and a changeup. What pitch would compliment these well?

            I have always wondered this with sports games in general. I remember sega genesis games started getting creative with winning ships. However, with all the cool things they are putting in games today...the best they can come up with is saying "And that concludes another game of..." Its not just another game! ITS THE CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!!!

            ...ah well.

              Avg.=.410
              HR=41
              RBI=111

              I still have two and a half weeks til the All-Star Break

                Yea, I'm in my second season and my stats have been monster. I think once you finally get all of your batting stats past 95, everything you get your bat on is going to be a base hit or a homerun.

                I'm about 1-2 weeks past the All Star Break:

                .468 AVG 220 Hits 75 HRs 182 RBIs 106 SBs

                Got a great tip to get your steals up. Everytime you get to first, steal before the pitcher delivers, forcing him to run you down. He'll usually run you down until you are about 10 ft from the bag and then throw to 2nd. Literally right before he releases the throw to 2nd, send your runner back to 1st. Once the shortstop has the ball, if you timed it right, he will throw down to first instead of running you down. Right when the shortstop throws, send your runner back to 2nd and you should slide in safe to 2nd nearly everytime, beating the throw back from the first baseman. Keep in mind that this does not work when you're stealing 3rd. This trick usually gets me at least 2 steals a game.

                  I agree with the celebrations, too. There should more of a reward for winning ships than just skill points. Give me fireworks, give me a dogpile, give me something! After I win the world series, I'm not going to casually stroll over to my third baseman and give him a pat on the *** (which is exactly what they showed my character doing). I'm gonna pop champagne and rail girls right there on the field.

                        Sounds like some of you need to up the difficulty.

                        My only gripe lately about my player is I just had the Indians sign Hanley Ramirez through the player suggestion, only to have him sit on the bench in the season behind Asdrubal Cabrera and Luis Valbuena. Could have put him at DH, but Michael Brantley was having too much fun I guess. Wtf?!

                          The one thing that ticks me off is dramatic velocity changes in pitchers. In the GOAL pop-up it has them with a 93 MPH fastball, and I understand in real life pitchers change speeds and sometimes their velocity is off, but that doesn't justify getting an 85 MPH fastball more than one time in an at-bat. It's a little thing but it is BEYOND frustrating when you whiff at a pitch down the middle because the scouting report has you expecting something 8 MPH faster.

                            Made a new starting pitcher today, mostly because I was happy to hear about the new patch.

                            I got drafted by the Giants, made a couple of AA starts. I am 2-0 and have allowed only 1 earned run so far. Probably gonna move it up to all-star next start.

                            The new patch works wonders though. Both starts I only went 7 innings because my got tired. First start I had 5 ks, 2nd I had 4.

                              Anybody play out their contract yet? I'm curious as to how free agency works when you're ready to move on.

                                the thing that ticks me off is the computer doesnt adjust their lineups even if you adjust them before starting the MP mode
                                like when you get a superstar player he doesnt go in the lineup he stays on the bench because the cpu refuses to make any change in the lineup at all
                                also the cpu doesnt resign any1 so far ive lost victor martinez, josh beckett, jd drew, and jon papelbon
