I don't care about my team, I just care about when I'm on the field lol. The shortstop I created is fat as hell. We're gonna have to work on his conditioning. I love hearing "The Garbage Man" whenever he comes up to bat.

I agree with you during the regular season. But if I make the last out in the bottom of the 8th of game 7 of the World Series with my team down 1 run...I'd like to watch the bottom of the 9th of the World Series play out even though I'd be the 9th batter of the inning. I'd hate to sim through that.

Made a CF, got randomly selected to be on the Cardinals. Lots of fun so far. Still struggling to hit a bit but that should improve over time.

I'm going to make a starting pitcher for a random team soon, and probably a closer for the Yankees so I can be next in line for Mo

I struggled through my first year as a closer/setup/relief man for the Pirates, and was rewarded with a Spring Training Invite where I tore it up; but still didn't get a bump to anything above AA.

            16IP, 1-1, 1.13 ERA, .087 WHIP, 14K, 14H, 1 HR, 2R, 2ER, 7.87K/9, .205BAA, 2 Saves

The odd highlight was a game in which I pitched 8.1 innings of relief which kind of made me wary of how well this game was programmed, I only have 39 stamina, but I only threw something like 69 pitches, so I don't know if I had enough energy for that kind of outing.

I REALLY am dissappointed with the face editor compared to NBA 2k10's. I was able to make myself really easily in NBA, but for some reason, I can't seem to get anywhere close in MLB. I wish they would follow suit with the show, and let you edit your head and face w/o a hat on. Would make it a whole lot easy.

Also, when tweaking my face, it sometimes defaults back to default face settings.

But as for how my progression is going, I need to step up hitting. I'm terrible. Made a game saving catch in CF in my first game.

Currently batting .256 with my Springfield Cardinals CF. I had a couple of 3+ hit games, but followed them up with an 0-4 and 0-5 performance.

I did get my first 2 RBIs though. We were down 3-2 in the 7th and hit a nasty single into center to drive both runs in

I started up a starting pitcher as well, and got "drafted" by the Astros. Played 2 starts for their AA team so far - got shelled my first game and left after 5 innings down 5-3, but my 2nd start I pitched 8 strong innings of 1 run baseball. Didnt get a decision either time though.

My final player will be a closer, but Idk if I want him to be on the Yankees quite yet. Maybe choose a random team, Idk.

So far Year 2 has been a lot kinder to my pitcher.

I've appeared in 12 games so far, for a total of 18 innings, I'm still holding onto my 0.00 ERA, 0.61 WHIP, 19Ks, 11Hs, 9.50K/9, and holding batters to a .161 average compared to the .375 average of my rookie campaign.

I'm also 4-4 in save chances.

I've already made 3 different my player guys. One closer, one starting pitcher, and one 2B.

I am struggling mightily as a reliever. I have a fastball, slider and sinker right now, but my BAA is currently around .400, which isn't exactly good. It's so frustrating because guys keep just poking these weak grounders and my fielders take pitiful angles on them and let them into the outfield. So yeah, that's frustrating.

My starting pitcher is doing a bit better right now. I didn't come through in the clutch moment for any of my 3 players, but in my first start, I pitched a complete game shutout, striking out 7 and giving up 7 hits. Considering my stamina is a 60, this was incredible. By the end of the game, my pitcher was visibly shaking and huffing and puffing between pitches, and it was almost impossible to throw good pitches for like the last 9 outs, but I was able to get the hitters to fly out and got a clutch double play to end the game with a 2-0 win in my first start. This is more what I was hoping My Player mode would be like. I felt very good about myself after this game. I haven't made my 2nd start yet, but I'm pretty pumped to do it tomorrow.

My 2nd basemen started his career on a 10 game hitting streak, but still managed a batting average of just about .250 during the streak. I just went 1-4 like every game. I'm now hitting around .222 probably about 20-25 games. Hitting is so frustrating for me because it was just so much easier in the demo with guys like Jeter and Cano and Rollins than it is with my 60 contact 52 power second basemen.

My closer only has 2 pitches, Fast Ball and a 12-6 Curve. However I got them both up to about a 66 overall, and the 12-6 has some nasty movement and is about 14 MPH slower than my Fast Ball so it always messes up the batters.

I'm a very streaky CF for the Jays farm team of New Hampshire Fisher Cats. In 24 games I have 3HR 18RBI 7R and 4BB for a .229 avg. 3 doubles also. 1 fielding error. 33 strikeouts.

I had a 245 avg. after one game, but went into a massive slump. I'm not patient enough at the dish.

                              I'm addicted to this though.

After this or during I'm going to do a 3rd baseman and at some point a wild-thing like closer.

i just got into the league with my ss for the orioles. i will say that its not a joke switching from minor league pitching to major league pitching, especially when im playing on the hardest difficulty!! its a struggle, but its fun as hell!! my BA is .222 and im the number 5 hitter in the line-up. i need to get on base more and get my speed up to become a number 1 or 2 hitter.

next i will be making a starting pitcher!!

                                my player is addicting!
