I was thinking about this earlier this week, and I think it'd be so cool to be in the batter's box and watching the bulbs flash right as you hit the ball.
You know what would look good?

I know that you're doing it to be annoying now, and of course, I would've expected this sooner or later. I read that preview, and I thought that it was *** **** awesome! There's no way that you can't give this game a second glance. However, I read it before you posted it here, and I'm sure that everyone else has too, and if they want to consider buying another game, they'll look at the other forums.
Also, Mark, I'm assuming that you're ignoring my other posts, because like I have said before, you start off with warnings, but then when it comes to THREE posts like this, we figure that it's not coincidence, and you're looking to get banned from one of the best message boards for sports video games ever just to promote your favorite game as of now... I gotta hand it to you in a way... you got balls, kid.
Also, I said that we haven't gotten an interview yet, so if ours is like... 10x better, then I don't think that you will be trying to pull these stunts (maybe you will do it the other way around and promote this game to MVP's forums).
I'm keeping my eyes open this year, right now I'm not for any game until mid-February. I'm not like Maddenites. Well, I've already found out practically what all of MVP is like, now it's ESPN's turn to strike. I'm also looking hard at MLB 2005. ASB is pretty much the same every year in a sense with the pitcher to batter thing.
Back to the thread, flash cubes would be excellent in crowd atmosphere, and in playoffs maybe they can implement a lot more flash cubes going off.
And I know that Bonds won't be in the game, I was just giving an example. At least a lot for Sosa, a little less for Giambi, a fair share for all of the A's, etc.Comment

Plese shut up. Nobody cares. Why are you posting this here?Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: You know what would look good?
No doubt.
However, ASB was gonna have this last year, they had it in their game, but they did it like it changed every half inning, and they said that it looked really weird.
It there's some way that we can implement it right (how about a little bit after every out, batter, or pitch, it should barely even be noticeable), it would be REALLY cool.
Also, something else they would probably have to implement. The whole daylight savings time thing. You know, during the summer, the days are longer, so it takes longer to get darker, and... stuff.
If you played ESPN Football, they had a slight shadow change thing, but it had to be an afternoon game (unless you play day games in Texas Stadium), and it changes every quarter. It doesn't get darker by any means, the shadows just move across more.
I hope that pretty soon they can find a way to do this.
The problem with it being every inning or out is what if you have a 10 minute rally without getting out, and it's still broad daylight, then you start getting shut out, and then it gets dark really quickly.
I think that from now on with night baseball games, I will count on average of how many batters it takes to get to a fully pitch-black night, and some things like where it just starts to get darker and stuff. Maybe SEGA Sports will be able to do it this year.Comment

And the important topic of gameplay was pretty much avoided. I love the "easy to pickup and learn, hard to master" quote. I recall Brent Neilson using that in one of the Triple Play games as well. I'll believe it when I see it because previews really don't mean anything...Comment
